ive also got a generic 2*12' carpeted sub box bought from JB hi-fi which i paid 200... will sell it for $100 as its BRAND NEW

im 99% sure it'll be the alt.. still waiting for the call from the mechanic.. its been making noises for the last week and finally spat the dummy this morning.... boo to skylines and the repair bills

well made it to the mechanics today.. the power steering started to feel heavy and the hicas light started to come on and off too... hope this is only a result of the alt dying, yes? cos id hate to have to fork out for it to be fixed too.... grr

hi guys... my alternator has been making some weird noises lately and things just got a bit strange on me. driving down the fwy and all of a sudden my usually (typical) dull headlights are super white and bright.. my dash lights are equally bright.. i looked at my volt reading on my turbo timer and it was reading like 16volts.... the volts dropped when i was at idle so im thinking my alt is about to pack it in? my question is 1) is it my alternator dieing? and 2) i need to drive to work tomoro, so will it be ok to drive its not going to catch fire of anything drastic like that is it? car is a 32 gtst for what its worth.. HELP!!!

its more for cosmetic sake.. the old stickers still have the slightest of residue no matter how hard/what i try... guess il just have to live with it cos 130 for stickers just isnt gonna happen...

guys ive just called nissan looking for a replacement rear bootlid sticker for my r32 and they guy there quoted me $90 for the 'nissan' sticker and $38 for the 'gtst' sticker surely cant be right can it? anyone else replaced them?

have a look in the sticky in the vic section for a number of recommended places and contact numbers

as the topic states.. need some stock rear camber arms and a front left headlight cheers

bump now has 4 new tyres, installed the high-flow cat, and installed a cusco copy front strut brace going O/S in november so its going for 11k or id consider a trade for something smaller and a cash adjustment my way .. basically im selling to help fund my o/s adventure!!

what have u used to plug up the holes? tape or some grommets? i took mine off a while back and just taped them up, but ive put the wing back on cos i looked cheap with tape.. need to get it to a panel beater and have it smoothed i guess..

used some wd-40 and a bit of elbow grease and it came off a treat.. good tips guys cheers.. ***races out to buy some rear seat covers now***

what about just selling the fronts?

gonna get some of big kevs (rest his soul) product, if not eucylaptis oil or some of that orange power stuff.. have seat covers on the front for this exact reason, drove once b4 and my mate spewed all over the front seat... Fun times!!! leading from this, can we get generic seat covers ofr skylines?

well i got the short straw as ended up being the designated driver on saturday night... ive just got into my car to give it a clean and there is chewing gum all over the back seat... ive tried a search but had no luck, what products are good to get chewy off seats??

sorry if this is the wrong section guys.. i was driving home from uni last night and i started to smell petrol in the car... thought that it might have been b'cos i was almost out of fuel (light was just starting to come on) and the fact i have a larger bosch pump, having to pump a little harder as ive never drivin it that low before... so i filled it up, and drove 2 min home. Then this moring driving to work the smell is still there.. i drove with the windows down as it might just ber lingering. il get under the car tonight to have a look, but i couldnt see any leaks in the garage this morning. do u guys think i could have a leak? sorry for being a little vague, il get some more info tonight when i get under the car and take some snaps if i find anythinh james
