stupidly, ive never noticed that the spare in the boot is a 4 stud.. which isnt going to be of much use to me should i get a flat!!! where can i buy a 5 stud spare???

hi guys... well i noticed this morning as i reversed outta my drive a wierd 'click' coming from the front end somwhere. i have to reverse at an angle as i have a steep drive so the car was on the angle coming out of the drive. i drove up the street slowly and turned the wheel a few times and its clicking when the wheel is at almost full lock. also tried a 'heavy' brake and the same noise occurs.. is it most likely a worn suspension bush or some prob with the steering rack? i think i need my steering rack boots replaced as one of them has split.. any help would be great! james

still considering sale.. ive put a few pics up... the front bar damage just occured as a result of an f*wit tow truck driver who didnt take a lot of care getting the car onto the truck 2 weeks ago, when i had the car towed to the mechanics to re-weld the clutch pedal which broke..

its actually part of a what is now defunct speed warning chime. they dont seem to last.. do a search for it and u'll find some info on it. mine does the same, its dying, sounds like a cat being hit with baseball bat...(not really) but u get the idea... search function is your friend! -
and as far as im aware the only difference is with the cluster, mine having a battery volt guage where a gts-t would have a factory boost guage.. ?? correct?

R32 Gts-t Gearbox Fill Bolt

the main prob i have is space and not enough room to fully make use of the leverage the bar gives.... out of curiosity what size socket have u guys used, as the bolt is square i went and bought a 19mm bit from repco which seems to fit snugly.. il have another crack tomoro in the daylight.... -
guys i remember reading here that there are other ways of filling up the g/box with oil than th bolt on the passenger side? ive just spent the past 1.5hours trying to undo the filler bolt (and lost some skin in the process) and it stuck.. ive tried everything... so are there other ways to fill it up?

hi guys.. PUTTING THE CAR BACK UP FOR SALE AS A BUYER PULLED OUT AT LAST MIN EVEN AFTER PLACING DEPOSIT ON VEHICLE. I NEED TO SELL IT ASAP TO FUND PT2 OF MY O/S TRIP... u can get a check if there is money owing on it to.. just need the vin number it think.. check the vicroads site for 'clear title'

in order for it to be registered to u the previous owner (ie the person who its regod with with vicroads) will need to fill out a rego transfer form with you.. if u has one already written up by the 'neighbour' and is trying to sell it on his behalf then walk away...

guys ive recently found out that my car was originally born as a gts, and has then been spec'd up to having all the engine, brakes, kit and hopfulully driveline of a gts-t somewhere along the line.. its got me thiking about my gearbox and clutch. 1) the turbo gbox will have the red breather hose correct? i just shat myself cos i had a fear that ive may have just bought a clutch kit for a gts-t but my box is a gts.. 2) can anyone tell me if there is a diff btw a gts and gts-t gear shifter itself?

it was the welds.. have had them fixed, replaced the slave and the master too. all is good. it sucks not having a car.. on a side note my clutch kit arrived from the group buy so its going in next week.. yippee

yes, just have had both happen at the same time. getting them both done then getting the new clutch isntalled in the next few weeks

lost all clutch pedal this evening, i think its the master cylinder anyway, can anyone recommend a good mechanics in the doncaster/box hill area.. car needs to be towed there so dont want to go 2 far from home to save $$...

ok, my clutch master has been leaking slightly for the past 2 weeks, as i pulled into my driveway after work tonight i put the clutch in tomove back into first and there was a clunk and the pedal fell loosly to the floor and now i have no clutch... ive put a few pics of the area. not sure whats wrong, if anyone can give me some pointers before it goes to the mechanics tomoro... is it just a result of the master sh!tt!ng itself?

yeh, i ask as the hose has an eyelet for a bolt (which is missing in my case) and is tube is hanging loose in my car... should i worry about it? i have no idea where its spose to bolt to -

guys my g/box has started to make hell weird griding noises when i start the car in the mornings. its only when the car is cold (1st start for the day) .. will a good gbox oil change allieviate this?
