yes sold to me! thanks mate, it sounds and performs awsome. Great doing bussiness with ya! thanks for comming down with me to the exhuast joint as well. cheers. Din -
it really depends how quickly you do your km's so ur next service comes up. prob not best if u leave it in ur garage for like a year or soemthing, but other then that if you seal it well and leave it in a 'cool dry' place, it should be fine.

my mate had the same problem ever since he changed his blow off valve from the stock one to a turbosmart one.
-
Hey guys, This may sound like a silly quesiton but i just want to know where the fuel filter on the R33 gts-t is located? cheers.

Hey all, I have been having problems with getting my R33 wheel alligned. A lot of places say they cant allign the rear wheels for some reason. Does anyone know a place in melbourne that may be able to allign my rear wheels on my R33? its annoying driving with the steering wheel a little to the right. Its actually got a bit worse recently. Maybe something is wrong with my rear steering? Thanks, Din.

ye i agree, old people on the right lanes going 20km under the speed limit, i am a patient driver, but even that wears thin after a few mins and is forced to make tight lane changes. Got no problems with old or slow drivers IF they stick to the left lanes. But i see more and more of them driving super slow on the right lane. I dont know if this is just me, but seems like some of them slow down even more when they see a P plater behind them!
-
so are you saying its ok or not ok for P platers to drive a GTR?
-
mate, im a P plater, my first car was 33 gts-t and about to get off my P's, but even i would not jump into a GTR. I mean a GTR is a race car built for the track. In the hands of soemone who just got their p's or even anyone whos only had 2-3 years experince on the road, getting into a car that has that much power is a bit of a joke. Thats not to say that there are some sensible P platers, (i know many) but i also know a lot of hoons and even if they crash and die its ok as harsh as it may sound, but its when they start killing innocent people thats when a car like a GTR becomes a weapon on mass destrucion. I think a Gts-t is fine in the hands of someone who has a good head on their shoulders on their P's (and i know a lot of you guys here will argue otherwise, htats cool) but a GTR is crazy.

Bugatti Veyron - 736KW 4 Turbo 8.0L W16!!
dineth replied to knore's topic in General Automotive Discussion
i dont know why u would wanna buy this car, seriously, I mean you could buy 3 x 911 Turbo's for that price, In my book the 911 turbo is simply the best car going around. whats the point of having 1000+ HP if you cant use it properly. By the way does anyone else agree with me when i say the 911 turbo is the best 'sports' car in the world? Dont mean to higjack the thread or anything, But here are some 911 figures: Twin Turbo Opposed 6-Cylinder 3.6ltr DOHC 4 valves / cyl 3600 cc / 219.7 cu in power 331 kw / 420 bhp @ 5700 rpm (turbo S) torque 620.0 nm / 413.0 ft lbs @ 4600 rpm (turbo s) HP/liter 115.28 bhp per litre 0-100 = 4 secs 1/4 mile = 11.9 Now i havnt had the pleasure of ever driving one of these dream machines, but but i have heard that the most impressive part of a 911 turbo is not its acceleration but its stopping power. Apperntly it goes from 0 - 100 back to 0 again in just over 6 secs. i dont think it will be a bad day to day car either. Other things i thought that was pretty interesting: * a maximum boost preassure of 0.8 bar is available at around 2700RPM!!! * reccomended engine oil change every 12,000 miles! * when do u change coolant? NEVER! * porsche claims that the braking system is 4 times more powerful than the engine. -
Hey everyone, Just curious, surely people here have owned / driven a RX -7 and was wondering what they think? im refering to like the 'newer shape' model MY1992+. How do they go? what you think of them? I have never heard anything bad about them (except that the parts are pricey) and personally i think they look sexy! how do they compare with say a R33 gts-t? can they be compared with a GTR? post all your opinions! I also noticed that they are still pretty expensive, even 1992 models go in the high 20's low 30's. why is that?

Weird things you skyline does
dineth replied to druzilla32's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
when i first got my R33 and whenever i indicated to to turn right the indicator would not turn back off, it actually got faster and faster and then all this smoke came out of the indicator switch. It happend a few times. Sometimes the light would flash to say that the indicator is blinking but when u go outside and have a look, it would actually be off. The smoke thing scared me a little, but after a while it went away. I still have little electrical probles such as my cabon light dont go on when i open the door unless i hit it hard. my boot light is the same. another one is when the engine is cold (like when i first start the car in the morning and when the cars not fully warm, the steering feels a lot heavier then normal and even makes a bit of a weird 'brrrrr brrrr' noise when i turn. anyone know why? it goes away when ther car gets nice and warm. -
just want to let everyone here know that the 2 guys at the back who died, didnt die from the inital crash, but the tram power line pole which they hit collapsed and fell on top of the back crusing the back 2. doesnt make it any better but ye, sad to see. The kids went to my high school and lives a few blocks away. really sad. Also like to add that the driver of the car might be in a lot of trouble if he gets out of jail then if he goes in jail. Aw by the way the driver was fine he was only in hopstial for a few days and the dude in the passangers seat didnt even get a cut. Im also a bit shitty at some dickhead forget his name who wrote a article in the herald sun on high perf cars and drivers. I mean he had some good points but he really lacked facts. For eg: he claimed the car the skyline was a "NISSAN SKYLINE GTR" when it clearly wasnt. There is a huge diff between a GTR and a Gts-t. just fuelling the fire if you ask me.

Why did i get chopped by a fto!!!???
dineth replied to paully_tee's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hmmm does anyone know if Type R integras pull hard? my mate said he nearly got done by one and he has a R33 gts-t. The integra was the new model one. (with the copy cat skyline lights at the back) -
ye i agree browny. Basically to me asleeper is a car that looks like it will go real shit but if u ever dragged it, it will rip u to shreads. Like dont matter how stock a GTR would look like, you will always know tis a quick car, now if you get a lancer (a stock pissy little model) and wack in a evo engine and gbox, then that car would be a sleeper cos no one would vere guess it would hammer until you see it go. then there are the opposite of sleepers such as celicas, paseos, fto's and so on.
-
aww ye i remember that. It just dont make any sense. You would ahve more control of any car on your P's then your L's. Imagine getting into a HSV GTS when u have never driven ANYTHING before? yet thats perfectly legal. I can understand that some houses may only have one car and the kids need their experince, but when u think about it, there is no sense in that at all.

ye tell me about it. some put holes around my area are like 20 cm's deep, no joke. they should really spend some of those millions of speeding fines they gete evry year on fixing the roads. There are so many dangerous spots as well. Like my mate for eg:, he lives in taylors lakes, and there is this road he has to croass (called roberts road for those of yous who are familiar with that area) they have to cross a freeway to get to the otherside, there is only a giveway sign and there have been about 7 fatal crashes there in the last 3 years. its such a joke.
