Isnt it funny how a lot of us skyline owners are bagging the look of the new GTR where on a Rex forum they love it specially compared to the new rexy (although some may argue thats not that hard given the 'hatch' like design of the new rexy) but the more pics i see of the new GTR the more i love it, anyone seen any high res pics in black??

I think its missing a few things, such as laser guided missiles...and a big cannon at the front...

I dont know what all these CON bussiness is about, im not too familiar with the Ring, but i doubt Nissan would do a 'dodgy' and promote it for the whole world to see specially with so much scrutiny and people anticipating the launch of the GTR, i think someone wanted to know the comparisons between the V8 super cars and the new GTR: Nissan GT-R Performance: 0-100km/h 3.7secs, 308km/h top speed Price: $120,000 (estimated) VS: V8 Supercar: 3.8 secs (Ford Team Vodafone), 4.0 secs (Holden Toll Racing), from $400,000-$500,000 and yes i know this isn't a very fair comparison, but still gives you an idea of the GTR's potential. Keep in mind that the GTR is a road car with all the trimmings (which add weight) If only they would change the rules again in Bathurst again it would be like the early 1990's all over again, but im sure the 'the pack of assholes' might have something to say about that

well its wedged in between a CCR and a SLR....you could possibly buy around 6 GTR's for the price of one of those 2 cars! so its not bad goin!

I been on this car many times! and i can vouch that these coil packs are in great condition! the cars never been boosted! 180 for a set of 6 in great condition is a bargin! i paid well over 200 for mine a few weeks ago!

Hey guys, thinking about getting some 2nd hand JIC coilovers, but he does not have the 'C' spanner to adjust them. My mate has Tiens and he has the "C" spanner for his suspension and was wondering if they use the same type or will I have to source specific "C" spanner for it? it would be great if someone had experince with Tiens and JIC before. cheers, Din.

Hey guys, I have a Set of 17 x 7.5 rims on my R33 (114.3) i was wondering what is the widest or 'fattest' size tyres i can put on theifor the rears? at the moment i have 225's, which are ok but i was thinking that 235's would be ideal, is this possible on a 7.5 width rim? cheers, Din.

ok got the car today guys, running like new again thank god, it was 2 of the coil packs that was totally gone! was running on 4 cylinders! so its all good now! thanks again for all your help!

i just got a call from my mechanic that after replacing the coil packs the issue seems to be resolved! which is great news for me! ye my mate told me about the FMIC piping could do the same thing, but i had a good look at it when he told me and that wasn't the case.....so as it stands now the issue was coil packs...i wonder why skylines run coil packs instead of ignition leads? cos everyone has issues after time with coil packs... PS: Thanks again for all your reply's guys, gotta love SAU!

Thanks for all your reply's guys, i have a feeling that it maybe the coil pack (s) thats totally gone and not sparking so the cars running on like 4-5 cylinders, I'm guessing thats the reason why its fine when its cold but a few mins of driving makes the car sound and go like crap, when i listened to the engine carefully i can hear it mis, so i hope fingers crossed its coil packs...which should be a easy fix, either way i gave it to my mechanic today to see what he thinks it is...will keep you guys posted to see if this was the case! Hey guys, I Have a 93 R33 Gts-t Auto I was wondering if someone could help me with my issue: Part 1: I'm ok with my car stuff but this has totally stumped me! I was driving on to the freeway and started to put the foot down when i felt the boost cut come in, but not like usual, not as sudden but more linear if that makes sense....the problem here is that i have set my boost so that i dont ever get boost cut even on cold days! Part 2: So i started to keep it at 90ish km/h when the hicas light came on. I pulled over and restarted the engine and the hicas light turned off, now this is when all hell broke lose! Part 3: All of a sudden the car started to sound like a big chevy v8 / or sort of like a Wrx. At low revs the inside of the car rumbles and shakes pretty bad and the power seems to be gone...although the boost seems to be still there. The runs like crap now and sounds or feels nothing like my old car! its very rough but the engine itself seems fine, oil is fine, it seems to be from the exhuast but the exhuast seems fine from the outside too. I dont know what it is, i want to get an idea of what can be wrong b4 i give it to someone to have a look at it! the car almost feels and sounds like its running on 4 pistons or something,...but as i said the engine itself seems fine and sounds normal....but the exhuast note is very different. i dont know if the turbo has gone and is blocking my cat or something, but then again i didnt see a big cloud of smoke and even now i got a mate to have a look and theirs no heavy smoke at all and i still seem to get boost if i put my foot down (but i hvant dont it as much for obvious reason) I also found that once the car cools and i restart the car, it seems all fine again for about a minute and once i put the footdown even a little bit it comes back again! aghhh its driving me crazy! PLZ HELP! any feedback is most welcome!

also just to add, when i started my car again after it was set to cool, it was fine back to normal for about a minute but as soon as i put my foot down, the rumebling came back again!

the interior looks really boring...i love the ca dont get me wrong but the interior will get out of date really fast!
