  1. hey mate, I got a 2nd hand Apexi N1 exhuast about a year ago, and in my opinion its one of the best exhusts for R33's around. I got plenty of mates who has R33's with other branded exhuasts but for performance and stealth its hard to go past the N1. Its pretty quite until u hit high RPM's and made a massive difference in power after i put it in. the exhuast note is a low rumbeling sound you can feel rather then hear, and pretty quite when your not pushing it hard. im just in the process of looking for a suitable front/dump pipes and also a high flow cat to get a little more out of it. my 2 cents. Din. PS: i paid 500 for the exhuast on the forums. My theory was id rather get a good reputable jap brand 2nd hand rather then get a cheap new one.
  2. aghh damn it! well its not that easy to get the correct offset when you have a limited choice of offset in the wheels that i got! agh well. what can ya do. thanks for the quick reply.
  3. hey all, tried to do a search to see if bolt on spacers (25mm) are legal in victoria or not? didnt find anything that made me feel a 100% sure. Wanna make my wheels look fatter, but ive heard mixed reports about some (or all) spacers being illigal, If anyone knows for sure, plz let me know. cheers, Din.
  4. its the bolts that screw into the bar itself.... they look like their a special type of bolt..cos they got a hole drilled through them and everything, so i dont know where u could get replacement bolts like that...
  5. well it wasnt like a cheapo cheapo, but still cheap (Not like cusco or a high end jap brand), but the thing is its australian made so it cant be that bad?
  6. i got A new strut brace and is having some issues fitting it though, it seems that the nuts that screw onto the main strut brace is not long enough, like even after only 2 turns of the bolts (barely holind the nuts together) it still wont be long enough to connect to the joints? maybe they gave me the wrong nuts? it seems as though if the nuts was even a little bit longer it be right but they just doont seem long enough to reach the joints that bolt onto the suspension and i cant losen the bolts to make it reach cos their already pretty much barely in. did any one else have any similar issues? cheers, Din
  7. I just got a Type M front bar courierd from Adelaide to melbourne and after looking at this section i went with Air Road direct. Cant speak highly of them. The bar was just bubble wrapped and taped and it got to me as if it was never moved. they picked it up yesterday and i got it today. So over night delivery and no waiting around. The price was 130 and some may say thats expensive but at least i got the goods in one peice (whats the point spending 300-400 bucks on a front bar and then by trying to save a few bucks get the item 1/2 broken?) i thought 130 was very resonable and they have a excelent reputation and a hassel free online booking system where you dont even need a account! I just emailed them to say thanks on a great job cos i was a bit worried about it getting to me 1. ontime and 2. more importantly in one peice. Wouldnt even bother looking around next time, i highly reccomend them! Also a quick thanks to John who did a gr8 job in bubble wrapping the bar!
  8. Hey guys, I just got adjustable castor rods the other day and 2 things happend. 1 the steering feels great (a lot better then the old cracked bushes anyways) and also it became a bit more 'sensative; everytime i would go over abump or soemthing, id feel it straight away on the steering wheel. This didnt bother me until i discoverd that afte ri hit about 100 km/h the steering shakes a lot more than it used to with the stock rods. Is this normal? i mean it is a bit of a pain in the ass when ur steering vibrates on the freeway. Also worth noteing is that this doesnt happen all the time, on some surfaces it seems fine. I know its not my rims or tyres cos there pretty much brand new. I also just got a 4 wheel alignment from bob jane. any advice or reccomendations welcome. Cheers, Din.
  9. hey mate, mine does the same thing, my mate reckons its cos the rotors might be warped and on their way out. And also since i got adjustable castor rods the other day my steering shakes a lot more now at around 100+km/h, but the weird thing is it seems like it depends on the surface of the road?

  19. Hi everyone, Desperete to get a new front bar for my S1 R33, anything but the stock one (unless its a mspec), and i would prefer it to be painted black and located in Vic. Will pick up and pay cash asap. Doesnt have to be in brand new condition as long as its in pretty good condition and i dont have to repair anything. let me know if anyone has one. cheers, Din.

  21. Hey guys, if anyone has a series 1 aftermarket front bar sitting in their garage looking for a new home, im very interested. Ideally i would love it to be a mspec front bar located in melbourne and in black but i relise the chances of finding that is very low. So im looking for a S1 aftermarket front bar pref in black (cos painting costs a Shit load these days) and located in Melbourne. Willing to pay good money if its in good condition. thanks guys. Din.
  22. hmmm say i got the dump pipe, would any or most aftermarket front pipe bolt onto the dump pipe or would i have to get one from the exact match for the particular dump pipe i got (cos that would be a pain) cheers,
