well back then you could not buy one of the shelf the one way check valve stopped any hyd lock probs we had a light connected to a float to warn of low meth water we only used to fill it once during the night at the start of the meeting dummm speedway holden 6 to to many electronics to worry about all im saying is this is not a new idea i was doing 20 yrs ago now there are complete kits well thats great news for non thinkersbut the same princapals apply today as then and if i was going to use one i would still have a go first never had a washer pump fail and the nozzles we used to tap into the plenum was actuall ma gee or endleee machanical meth nozzles this wasent some half baked things we used we actually sat down done the sums and gave it a go .and i can say the 4 or 5 seasons we used the system it worked great for us cheers midlife crisis

yrs ago i was running a turbo holden 6 at speedway we made our own meth injection system all we used was a washer bottle and motor with a small one way check valve connected up to a hobbs adjusable preasure switch and just plumbed it in b4 the throttle body .we did nor tun any more boost we used it to controll knock and it fixed that prob no worries some of you smarter guys could make ya own systems really cheap prob under 80 bucks if ya sit down and think about what ya actually get for ya money in a 400 buck kit cheers midlife crisis

i would rather spend 10 mins making a bracket than just to rip it off and have a lump of broken weld stuck on the pipe let alone taking the chance of tearing a hole in the pipe while ya just rip it off

Unfortunately after 5 of the 6 mnonth disqualification hit a beemer and did 10G's worth of damage to my car and about 2.5gs' to beemer. Mr plod came where i hance gave a fake name (originally went with my brothers but then put my fathers name down for insurance purposes --as my brother is younger and not inuseed to drive my ride. Unfortunatleyl mr plod did a licence check over the radio and found out i was not aged 57 like my father. He then mumbled something about liieng.... then i ended up talking my way out of it and drove away.. He did not have a clue who was behind the wheel. ANyway he enede up ringing home address next day and i admitted it. Went to court and got a 1750 dollar fine and no further disqual. I have since lost my licence due to a differnet matter (gluglug vroomvroom) and was warned along with all the other poor suckers that were in the same court hearing as me that if you drive while disqualified the punishment is gaol. They have since removed my right to appeal the decision (well at least this is what i have been told) due to the courts being sick of the amount of successful appeals that are lodged (in my circumstance i would be a shoe in for a suxsexful appeal). What happened to freeeeeeedom. Its like the issue if a tree falls in the woods and noboddy is around to hear it does it still make a sound? ie if you keep driving while disqual and noboddy finds out is it a crime? i mean are you affecting social cohesion and society if nothing goes wrong?. I think in SA the punishment far outweighs the crime and i cant see it as an adequatre measure to prevent disqual and unlicenced people from driving (look at the aboriginals they realise our laws dont mean shit and all we do is reap and destroy so they just do what ever they want!!!!) Something which i believe the SA governemnt is going to have to face a lot more of in the near future as they start making up redicualous laws that encroach on peoples freedom (ie hoon laws -- person may accidently spin the wheels with a high powered car (which wouldnt take much) in the wet with a noisy exhaust due to the car being modified and they could face themselves having to drop out of uni and become a bum due to mr plod being in the worng place at the wrong time confiscating their car and licence beacause he is in a shitty mood bcause he hasnt had a root for a month from the missus or any coffee. Just keep driving with someones id that looks like you (as long as you dont get pulled over for doing anything to rash you should be alright ) Either that or put your life on hold for a year and sit on the couch take lots of drugs and live off the governemtn.. If everyond did this they would soon stop taking peoples licences away as they would not be able to pay them all welfare!!! So many ways to battle an ever failing and worsening system all you need is the right numbers balls and brains MATE TOSSERS LIKE YOU SHOULD BE OFF THE ROAD FOR GOOD the sad thing is he lives in the same state as me

mate i didnt even remove the bottle when i drilled the hole the hybrid kit come with picturesand measurments for the hole give me ya email addy and i will pass on the instructions to ya

yep i have a photo where the hole goes but all it shows is the pilot hole for the centre of the holesaw btw the hose from the boost controller i just brought a t piece and connected it the line that comes out of the plenum to the fuel regulater seems to work ok not causing any hassles

i had the some problem fitting one last week into my sons car o made a bracket that bolts to that flat bit plate and then onto the engine bracket i had to make new brackets for the intercooler as well as the supplied ones didnt quite line up. also the clamps supplied are a bloody tight fit and caused some grief as well my kit wasent from just jap tho it was a geniune hybrid hope the pic helps . btw the horns just undo them and mount them inside the engine bay next to the rad sorry about posting the same pic twice here is the 2nd pic i ment to post

ive broken to many heim joints /rose joints of various brands and makes including aircraft quaility racing speedway there would be no way i would ever trust one on a road car . apart from the insurence side of things as well

i must have got shannons on a bad day then im 46 perfect record full insurence on other road cars . when i rang shannons all they wanted to know is if i was in any car clubs? i told them i have been in the past but not at the moment they basically told me they wernt interested and suggested i try just cars wtf ? they would not even give me a qoute .they missed out on my business plus my son has just brought a r33 and they have missed out on his as well . i really would have preffered going with shannons as they have a local office but if they dont wany to take ya money what do ya do?
