hey guys thanks for the replys Drifta1600 sounds like a similar prob to what you had so ill def check it out. The car has been outside now for 45mins at idle with no probs so ill take it out for a spin tonight see if i get any diferent readings on the sensor check on the power fc. Im off overseas for a week on thursday so might have to wait till then!! cheers Brendan

Hi guys I have a r32 gtr and am having problems with the car not being able to rev or produce power intermitedly. The car will run fine all good then the exhaust temp light comes on and the car will only idle and sometimes die. If i turn the car off then start it again sometimes the problem fixes and the car will run fine for 15mins then the prob comes back. The car has been progresivly getting worse, Im hoping its a just a sensor that needs replacing. The car has a power fc big single with all supporting mods etc Just wondering if anyone has had a problem like this before? any help suggestions would be really appreciated cheers Brendan

Hey D I got a defect for a brake light out, gearknob loose, handbrake too many clicks, blowing visable oil smoke, blow off valve. Got pulled up by a arsehole cop, pulled out of a carpark and because she was cold she was running rich so bit of black smoke came out the back of the car, he pulled me up called me a f%^king dickhead doing burnouts (his words exaclty) which i wasn't, i said to him he was unproffesional about his job and i didn't appreciate being spoken to in a unsavory manner, then i explained what he saw. Didn't sit to well with him so he gave me a defect the rat! Besides that the Body is straight besides a tiny ding on drivers door, the problems with the car are in the driveline the imput shaft to the diff is cracked, left inner cv is work, the horn doesn't work, the rear shocks need attension, i had s13 coils in rear but one of them is rooted so i took them out and replaced them with the originals and cut the springs down, the diff has been welded, the 2nd gear syncros are shot, the engine has a bearing rattle and missing top window mould, drivers mirror loose. As for the mods its got the rb20det, highflow turbo, link aftermarket computer, supra intercooler, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, 16 inch alloy wheels, lowered front end ironmask front, also has r34 driver and passenger seats, i have the original seats and original dr30 ironmask wheels. Thats about it i think ill get some pics and post them for you too cheers Brendan

I got a white hr30 coupe ironmask front, engineered rb20det with mods! Ive been debating if im going to sell it or not i got a defect notice a while ago haven't got it cleared so its just sitting there. It developed a rattle in the engine so ive been apprehensive about fixing these issues for the roadworthy, knowing my luck ill fix it then the engine will go pop! Im in the process of getting a gtr anyway so its not going to be driven, till i get some time to spend some real money on it and fix it up! In saying that though these cars just arn't getting what value i think there worth, personally i wouldn't even consider selling it for less than 5 grand if i couldn't get that i rather have it backyard as a decoration! cheers Brendan

Hi guys have a problem with my diff there is a clunking coming from the left rear the sound is only there under acceleration and sends vibration throughout the whole car. I took the car to my mechanic who welded the diff because the spider gears were shot and replaced the cv's didn't really help at all though he doesn't seem to know, he was telling me it was the front of the diff but i have my doubts because the noise is definatly on the left. The noise only started after i lowered the car at the rear could it be the shafts angle has changed so the shaft that is on the right is of a shorter length. Think i should change the wheel bearings too can somone steer me in the right direction to get some replacements for these. any suggestions would highly appeciated Brendan

Been having a look around on the net for flares for dr30 found some on r30.co.jp $480 with out shipping. datsun 240zg flares? not sure it they'll fit, there half the cost so could be a option. love this zed

hi all have recently aquired a hr30 with a ironmask front looking to put some sort of flares on to accomodate some fat rubber and go for that bad mean ass look! has anyone had anyone done this before? places to buy these flares? torana slr 5000 will they fit? ive attached a pic of a jap 30 that i like the look of! any ideas or suggestions would be great! cheers
