  1. my gtr drives very well and i have just done a major service on it, now after doing the coolant, i have noticed that sometimes when im sitting at lights or sumthing i give it a rev and the clutch fan spins loudly like it need to cool the radiator down more... other times ill give it a rev and just a sweet rb26 rev, no fan wooooshhhh if you know what i mean, its about 50% on and off. im pretty sure i bled the system, properly... cranked the heater and had the water level over the top of the head in a special funnel to bleed all the air, but the nipple on the top/side of the head, when i let that out, it was sucking, not spitting water out?????? it was like it was a vauucm line undun, sucking away.... whats the go any1??

  3. i have a s15 with a big setup, rb30/26 1100 hp turbo, and its still manual.... rb25 box, strengthened.... i have also added a r32 gtr complete rear end to the car, i have hsd coilovers and now i would like to set it up to get off the line hard, like gt autosound or devilsh..... what would i need to do, do these cars still run irs or have they been converted to some type of 4 ling system, id rather not convert anything as it is still a street driven car ocasonally.. regards denis
  4. diesel engines rock!!! dont be jelous, go buy yourself a block, if i get a chance ill post some pics of the block prep you can actually turn these to 9000rpm without 2 many dramas.....
  5. on the website above, they use the s14 strut towers, im guessing that they would have to weld some sort of braces to compensate for the upper arm..... i think i will have to do this.....

  8. i have pretty much everything i need at hand, parts ect, i have a 26 harness aniways and im prepared to modify the tunnel. my only concern is the strut towers.........
  9. i have spent a shitload on my engine and my motor will make a shitload of power... rb30/26 into s15... now i want to be able to use the power, i know the front ends (structually) of the skyline and s chassis are different, i am familliar with both of the as i have owned numerous of each.... if i was to try and convert to a 4wd setup, would i have to run the skyline strut towers with the gtr suspension or would i be able to utilise somthing from all diferent nissan parts... id like to utilise the s15 sturt towers as ive just had the car freshly painted including the engine bay.... would i be able to adopt some type of 4wd system using the s15 suspension with some type of gtr hub system???? also, id appreciate no smart ass comments like " just go buy yourself a gtr" been there, done that.... only helpful comments are appreciated... regards denis
  10. lol, no1 is taking me for a ride champ, actually ive been taken care of, eg. OS Giken RB30 $22,500 OS Giken RB31 $24,000 thats just for the bottom end, dissasembled. with no oil pump or sump, even though mine is not a os setup, it will produce the same if not more than that, ive used a special block and there is around 4500 bucks in block prep just for the particular one ive used...... so, it adds up easily also key ways dont fall out as easy as you think, its got nowhere to fall to
  11. 9500rpm??? i have spend over 18,000 on my long motor, so are you saying i can rev mine all day to 9500rpm?? spinning on the crank??? mate there is a keyway on the crank... unless you forgot to install it there is no way you would spin the balancer on the crank...

  14. thats teh 1, deisel, runs somthing like 22:1 compression. found in the nissan partol 92 models.... there is about 4 to 5 grand in block modification, there is a rear water jacket that needs to be welded up, and also 3 oil returns dont line up, need to modify the head aswell to compensate
  15. also series 1 would be better to use as the cylinder walls are also abit thicker than the series 2 blocks, but there is no water and oil inlets/returns, you must machine them out...
