ita actually 4 sale atm, i have a 34 gtr im trying to negoitate with, it that sale falls thru, ill complete the s15 and race this, the plan is to run 1 gate, 60mm sub zero gate from the states.... ive been reading its better to run the 2 gates but still dont see the major advantage -

hi i have for sale my s15 with a gtr engine conversion.... im only selling it for a upgrade to a 34 gtr preferably in white, so id mabey swap with cash either way.... i WIL NOT SWAP FOR ANYTHING ELSE, MABY a full off chops 32 gtr here is a link to the build process, also note, that it comes with a gearbox, trwin plate clutch, tailshaft, complete fuel system installed, coolant system installed.... all thats left to do is wiring of the motec, buy a manifold, turbo,coilpacks, fab work and finish.... $$ 38,000... it owes me a lot more...... Hello, here is my s15 ive been building for a while now, im planning to run 9 sec passes on pump fuel manual... should do it easily.... my aim is 650whp on about 23 psi will do 600whp no problems ive been told by my engine builder considering the combo engine specs rb26 micro polished and grub screwed crank block dipped and crack tested, chemically cleaned new welsh plugs arp main studs pauter rods cp pistons, modified with custom gudgeon pins .20 thou oversize all balanced and blueprinted nitto oil pump ati super damper 1000hp balancer very very big and polished port job... cc chambers arp head studs edges deburred metal head gasket ferrera oversize valves hks 272 10.2mm lift camshafts in and out hks step 2 valve springs jun type b titanium retainers bronze valve guides high energy sump to suit rwd adjustable cam gears 1000cc injectors greddy rail sx fpr all controlled by a motec m8 pro ecu running a m&w 6 channel cdi ignition system with Mercury coils also has a full race twin scroll manifold, this is a work of art, there are afew pics of it.... also running hypertune plentum single t/b garrett gt4088r .95 twin scroll turbo, rated at 800hp sub zero 60mm wastegate from states sx 1000hp fuel pump... rb25 gearbox jim berry custom single plate clutch modified as end, s15 bare cradle with all r32 gtr bolt ons, diff, stafts brakes arms ect.... brand new respray in lexus pearl white.... car has only done 48,000kms.... hope to see it running in the next 2 months max

ive gone m&w cdi direct fire, motec mecury cdi coils. Its actually cheaper than going twin spark and splitfires.

id like to know what would the best oil pressure 2 run in a say 9500rpm engine. I know it goes on tolerances but my mate has bought a nitto pump, threw it on and had 120 psi at 8k, this 2 me is 2 high, hes even blown the rear seal out as a result. Is 75 80 psi up top efficent enough?

sweet as, ive been doin some reading and there are some negatives in running a cdi system, ive also been reading about the hks box and it seems to have the best of both worlds. runs in inductive and cdi modes automically........ hmmm hard choice....

im a tight ass.... whats a set of splitfires worth and that hks box??? cdi is 2 grand complete will there be much of a price difference

the motec is direct fire..... you should know that, i said it only had 4 outputs, i was going to use m&w ,m&w now do a 6 channel cdi system which only uses one ignition output to direct fire all 6 cdi channels, only for motec ecu's though costs 2grand including coils no need for ignition expander.... i want something sufficient enough to do the job properly and "reliably" i have acquired the computer for nothing so may aswell use it... i asked the question because ive seen and heard of many many high powered cars running more basic systems rather than a full blown cdi system....

i was leaning towards that as i would also save cash on wiring.... can the plug gaps be opened up with this setup?

ive seen other setups make significant power without going as extreme as a cdi system, my tuner is like a high maintenance woman, he likes everything expensive... im trying to save cash but not cut corners 2 much.... a cdi system is worth 2g inc coils, why would i throw 2 grand if i could do the same job or at least similar and get the same result for something that costs 500 bux??
