lol AL, thinking of this post you made. Hose is connected to the turbo actuator, has to be air . Unless there is something drastically wrong, then this will be the least of his problems. hbs2jh Good luck with the car mate, i hope it's just a small repairable seal or somthing like that. I suppose it's a good thing that you have cought it while it's just a small leak. Let us know how it turns out.

Does it seem like the liquid is comming out of the hose or is it falling onto the hose from somwhere else? Sounds like OIL to me. Check your OIL and COOLANT lvl's to see if they are dropping, if they you have found what's leaking, just need to find where.

hmm, how did it effect your cornering and your low speed turning ? Did you notice it alot ?

But has anyone ever got theirs fixed or know what causes the problem ?

I wasn't sure if he was trying to point out some fluid on the pipe or just saying that area has a hose leak. Also I just saw the pics of your 2 beasts Al verry nice. Good Ol Purple one wins hands down lol.

I don't know exatly the tech specs of HICAS however I was told once by a nissan tech that if my HICAS was to fail and / or stop functions it would effect the entire steering of the car and feel like a power steering loss. From what he told me it is costly to get fixed and MIGHT be worth just disabling it if it's faulty (involves quite a bit). You might check if their is a FUSE or controller for bot the Pwr Steering and HICAS it that has blown. Have you checked all the engine fuses? Sorry if none of this helps but all the knowlage I have :|

Hi guys, I have a R33 GTS-T and was wondering how many other R33 owners have disabled their HICAS? I have taken my car the the skid pana couple of times and it much prefers to understear in the wet due to the HICAS. Has anyone disabled theirs and how much did it cost? Also has anyone had any specific problems with their HICAS? Just wondering cause in my daily run it helps alot at low speed but not so sure while i'm going 120k's and the road turns, feels somtimes more like it's going sideways then turning (as in back wheels turning with the front).

Hi, I don't know alot about the dash of my car due to never needing to look around in there If i was to buy one of these what else would be needed to actually install them ? Or can you use the rest of the parts from your existing dash ?
