yeah i put the new spark plugs in car. the ones i took out were these american ones by autolite called APP 3224 or something. new ones are NGK have done the job fantastically and the skyline does not jerk any more plus the carbon clean helped a lot, as well and the car pulls much better. I put like 38 dollars of Caltex Vortex fuel into the R33 non turbo skyline 2.5 manual plus octane booster bottle and got like 300 kilometers. does this sound right. does anybody know what the non turbo is supposed to waste on fuel, per like 100 kilometers. is this ok or is there something wrong with my car. Its got new penrite oil, petrol filter, clean HKS pod filter, oil filter, new spark plugs and also had a carbon clean to clean out the injectors and all the carbon buildup in the fuel system. Yeah mate i bought my JUN bar from them like you are going to like 1 year ago. the same one you are considering buyng. the pictures on the page look great but the bar is crap. My panel guy could not beleive it he said it was junk straight away. it is the crapest thing in the world. and on top of that it came broken on each corner of the bar already. it is like thinnest thing in the world. And the thing is my panel beater signed for it even though it was broken cause thats what you do plus he had been good to me in the past so i didnt say anything about it and just bent over and took it from carmate and also my panel beater. I called carmate and they said they could not do anything. they are dodgy. The thing is the breaks looked like they had happened when it was made. not in transportation. I paid a bit for the bar as well. The bar is all broken now. Anything that it touches breaks it. and it broke again in the places were it came broken. and the primer and that that it came in was like the crappest. so thin and was not in most areas of the bar. This had to be done again and it got charged for it. the bar is so thin that it wobbles in the air when driving and my steering now shakes as a result. It wasnt my panel beaters fault the spoiler came wrapped up and that. so he just signed. you are supposed to inspect the bar first or something before signing. The bar came with a sticker but my panel beater did not see it. the sticker said something like check for faults before signing. But that is so dodgy the bar comes all wrapped up and nobody really keeps the drivers waiting and that. People just sign. So yeah a friend of mine is copying my front bar the JUN one for R33. The thing is he makes them and he makes them really thick and chuncky and of good quality. Not like the cheap knockoff made in asia and sold by carmate. so if you want one maybe you can get one he is in melbourne. and is well priced. and makes them properly. I regret buying it from them i wish i had known Ron before cause he would have made it properly. I have had people tell me my bar wobbles when i was at the stop lights. i was wondering what the gap for nisan skyline spark plugs was. i bought some NGK BKR5E-11 they have a v groove in them. was wondering what the gap measurement on thme was, well to place thme in the car with.....its an R33 non turbo Rb25 5spd manual...thnaks any help would be appreciated. regards brian

Hey maybe you are right about thme leaking maybe they got it wrong or were just crapping me... and that . yeah to clean each one was like 35 each which is like 210 plus i had to take them out myself. if they do its extra. and the carbon clean was only 130 for the job which they do on the car. I got it done in clayton thast in the south eastern of melbourne.

hi thanks for the info on the sparkplug. i bought some diff ones to that but similar.... does anybody know what the spacing on the spark plug is. for an r33 rb25 non turbo manual. thanks for that

Yeha i got the injectors carbon cleaned the guy ran the car with these liquids for like 2 hours...the car went for ages and this black stuff came out ..all the carbon deposits...smelled like someone had been using an angle grinder or something. but now the car does not jerk anymore. and i saved all the work of taking the injectors out and that. plus i have been told the injectors on skylines usually leak afterwards..so they are usually just replaced and that, instead of cleaned. its not worth there time cause thne they have to be taken out again. I also bought new spark plugs, so hopefully that will make it even better than it is now.....also i wnated to ask what is teh spacing for an R33 rb25 sparkplug is. im not sure. does anybody know.

i have a non turno manual R33 skyline and its manual and was wondering what the normal spark plugs like NGk are for thme. Im not talking about the expensive ones that are like 20 dollars or something and that./ im just talking about the regular ones.........i just wnated to test for something...my old plugs or the ones in the car now are like this american ones.....something like asp or something but..anything will do i just wanted like the cheap NGK ones for now thnaks

hmmmm.. yeah who knows maybe this was done to make ethanol look good everything else i have read seems to go against this. maybe they are making this 98 ethanol look good with another ingredient in it and then people will say ethanol is good in fuels so it gets introduced.....and then they will just make it crapppy and cheap and take out the ingedient that made it good. ...but by thne it will be too late. it will be at the petrol pumps everywhere. what i have read seems to be a common trend ethanol doenst produce as much power as petrol so saving a couple of cents with ethanol wont matter since it wont as long...they just cross each other out...maybe thsi is all been done as a gimmick to make it look like the goverment is doing the right thing by the enviroment.

On one of the current affair shows they are going to talk about how ethanol is good and that it has been been aproved to be sold as well. ist on this thursday does anybody know what the go is with this will it damage your engine or what. Yeah thnaks for the responses that i got. I will ge thme cleaned see how i go. Also a mechanic i go to now in dandenong who imports these cars told me that, it could be the spark plugs cause i cleaned them witha wire brush and that, he said teh lead deposits can make it missfire, but i dont think, so cause the first time i cleaned them they were ok and the problme started long time after that was done.

Ok cool yeah. mine have getting worse as well. so i better get it cleaned. Hopefully will inccrease my fuel economy and more power. then again my non turbo r33 2.5, 5 sp manual doesnt seem to waste much petrol anyways so thats good i guess. hopefully now it will waiste even less. and hopefuully none of the injectors will leak after cleaning

Im getting them cleaned cause it says on the message..on top that the car jerks a bit when i take of or at low revs in the first few gears...i wnated to do a carbon clean in answer to another message but i cant find anybody that does it here. i contacted one that did it a company but they said they got rid of that cause...it didnt really work. i wnated to do it on the car so i would not have to take everything apart... maybe someon that does this job in melb..the carbon clean even if it doenst really work the best...better than nothing...yeah

yeah i need to get my injectors cleaned 4 my nissan skyline r33 its a 95 model and its non turbo, manual. I was going to get them done but the guys that do it told me over the fone that they would not do them cause they will leak or could leak and then they have to do it again and that ...cause of warranty and that ....so its not worth there time i think....so they said id have to replace them...others told me they can do thme no problems.. so what do peopel know from experience doing this my car sort of jerks a bit sometiems when you take of and that. so i think its the injectors...i live in dandenong north, melbourne.....does anybody have any advice or know anybody good i can take it too in melbourne....or maybe its another problem who knows. regards brian
