Partially correct. Private toll roads (and now the bridge and tunnel) are going fully electronic to improve traffic flow and safety, amongst other reasons (easier billing, less infrastructure to maintain etc..). the tag itself doesn't cost you anything extra other than the deposit, which you get back, when you give the tag back. as for how simple/complex a tag is, i wouldn't be able to tell ya as I've never opened one up. Chubb, the M4 and M5 rebate is a NSW gov't thing.... cos as part of their election campaign a while ago, they said they'd abolish the M4 and M5 tolls, on which they piked and introduced the m4/m5 cashback scheme where only cars registered for private use are able to claim back the tolls (without the GST). lol... the aliens... they are coming.... I think this is highly dependent on the individual, and not so much a conspiracy, and to object on those grounds when faced with the benefits (faster traffic flow, no granny's fishing for their 5 cent pieces from 50 years ago, no "conscietious objectors" abusing the toll operators while holding up traffic etc..) is rather silly.

they all work the same (or should) just the fees and charges vary between providers... generally speaking, if you're on a direct debit (credit card or bank account), and you've paid a deposit on your tag, you should have no on-going costs other than the tolls. the novo tags are the shiz... strongest signal and the lowest percentage of non-registers.

lol... now I don't feel as bad about having slept in till 2pm....

I just have this to say... I work for a particular tolling company (that is not ROAM Express) and I have a Roam EXPRESS novo tag (one of them little ones, the size of a tic tac container). IMO they have the most reliable billing/tolling systems. cheers, Sasha

Hey guys... Just got my very first DSLR after catching the bug on my friends' Nikons. Decided on the E510 as it comes with in-body image stabilisation, live-view (proven itself to be more a gimmick, as you can see what the lens sees, but for any focussing to occurr, it's gotta flip a mirror and do it's thing. Very time consuming) and subscribes to the 4/3s camp (people say it's better, but I couldn't really tell the diff other than the image ratio). Apparently the Olympus anti-dust mechanism is better than others (yet to fail after 3 days) Got 2 lenses with it, both Zuiko (14-42mm) and (40-150mm).... but next ones will be Leica lenses. Anyways, I'm only quite new to photography, but I'm keen to learn and take some nice photos when i got to Europe. here's a couple of shots I took recently... please give feedback, as I'm quite a n00b
