Hi there My car is getting tuned at high tech tommorow but my Z32 airflow meter hasn't arrived yet, just wanted to know if i could possibly borrow one for the next two weeks untill mine arrives so i don't have to get it retuned again. I will replace the airflow meter im borrowing and give them some cash extra for their troubles. Plz plz plz lol

hey mate, im a computer techy i had a similar problem connecting a laptop to a microtech LTX-8, we were using a PCMCIA to serial converter, these are better than the USB convertes as they create a full hardware serial port but the microtech didn't like it, in the end we had to get another laptop with a inbuilt serial port. Are you possibly from darwin, if you are then i could give ya a hand setting it up. -

LOL, i got one of those seatbelt strap removers, the filter doesn't move it just crushes. Tried smacking a screwdriver on the rim of the filter, just cuts a biger hole, doesn't budge the filter. NEXT STEP, i removed all the paper shit from the inside of the filter and tore the whole thing apart, now i can see the front face of the filter, taking a dremel to it tonight, i have no idea WTF they did with the filter, i have replaced the filter at least 5 times before, never this much trouble.

Hi there i am trying to remove the oil filter from my RB25DET, i have a Greddy plenum so its a bit harder to get to than before. I broke a oil filter remover, twisted and warped the handle completely. Tried the ol screwdriver through the filter, doesn't turn the filter just rips up the metal. Now it is stuffed beyond anthing, the front half of the filter is mangled. Im thinking i might have to hacksaw it off, just wondered of anyone had any ideas before i do that, cause its really hard to get to.

Hi there, i recently had a problem with my indicators not working, the fuse blew so i replaced the fuse and all was well, although i had to use a slightly larger fuse because i didn't have one with the same amp rating. The indicators stopped working again, then i checked all the fuses ok. I replaced the 3 pin idicator flasher thingy (under the steering column) but they still don't work. Now the thing that has got me stumped, all the indicators flash fine with my alarm no worries but not with the indicators and the hazard doesn't work either.

Another vote for Hi Tech Tuning, built my car from gorund up apart from internals, will be tuning it to, hoping for 300rwkw.

Does it sound like the O2 sensor cause, the wiring plug got half melted by the exhaust but the Air Fuel Ratio gauge still works

Hi there I recently picked up my car on the run in tune on the PFC, its got a 4 grand limiter, some dipshit was fiddling with the PFC and the engine warning light stayed on and the car started hesitating/missing on boost. I took it into the mechanic and they said they just turned some options on the PFC on, they disabled them and the egine warning lgiht went away. But the car still hesitates/misfires when coming on boost, is there anything on the PFC that you think i can check.

Hi there just posting my progess on my build up. First of all big thanks to Aaron from Sliding Performance who has helped me with 99% of the parts used in the build up, if anyone is considering buying anything from him my advice is DO IT. Cheap prices, fast delivery & the bloke is a champ Now basically the motor is finished from the rebuild any ready to go back into the car and then once run in, I am going to get Dr Drift to tune it The motor consist's of Full Rebuild Block Decked Full Balanced Bottom End Head Ported & Polished Cometic Metal Head Gasket Arias Forged Pistons Eagle Forged Rods Tomei 256 Cams Tomei Cam Gear And once done my GT30R, PowerFC, 040 Fuel Pump, 555cc Injectors & QF95 AFM is going on, im aiming for 300rwkw, and hopefully this is acheivable.

Ok guys, i have posted a few questions in regards to this before but need some more advice, there is a very limited knowledge of this stuff in the NT. Firstly Car Mods Rebuilt Motor (In Progress) RB25DET Arias Forged Pistons Eagle Rods Cometic Metal Head Gasket Tomei 256 Poncams Tomei Cam Gear Greddy Inlet Plenum Garrett GT30R Turbo Bosch 040 Fuel Pump Nismo 555cc Injectors Nismo Adjustable Fuel Reg Apexi Power FC Now we are looking for 300+rwkw The car currently has the stock ECU etc. (1) Will it be safe to bolt everything in once the motor goes back in, like injectors, fuel pump, power fc etc & run it around on the base map on the power FC to run in the motor for the first 1000km. The reason i ask is i have spoken to two local import mechanics up here, one said bolt on the new turbo & run in the motor on the stock computer, the other said the stock computer will shit itself with the cams. (2) How strong is the R33 GTS-t running gear, ie gearbox, tailshaft, diff, will it handle 300+rwkw. (3) I have seen alot of skylines with this power running multiple fuel pumps & surge tanks etc, but i have been told the 040 will be fine, is that correct. (4) Anyone know if i have overlooked something.

Hi, im currently rebuidling my RB25DET, got some new goodies for it, fuel wise i have got a Bosch 040 in tank fuel pump and Nismo 555cc injectors and Nismo Adjustable Fuel Reg. I am looking at roughly 300 to 350rwkw and i have been told this is not sufficent. What else would i require to run this power safely (fuel wise).

Dan, ill have a race for you if you ever come up to Darwin again, lol. On a safe tune what kind of power could i expect, this has already blown way out of budget so if im looking at 250 to 270rwkw then i prolly wont bother with rods. Also had timing belt replaced 300km before motor leaned out, so would the standard Nissan timing belt be ok.
