paul - i was going to ring autoclutch and find out what the deal was.. i thought they may have a few exchange units lying around?
otherwise - yea, i'd be up for that.. but that would mean extra $$ for the second clutch unit right?
170rwhp? me not sure.. did 14 flat with 230.. then last night a 13.6 with 245 (or thereabouts)... quicker time had alot to do with tune, dump pipe and cam pulley me thinks...
thats just it vlt - the 9 puck should work fine for the power i'll be making as i don't plan to be much higher than 300rwhp by the end of my mods.. so the $$ on the twin plate can go towards my fmic and plenum instead...

tryo - yea - think i'll end up getting autoclutch just to reface the stock one.. can't justify $1500 at the moment... if it had only lasted till next month!!! doh...
troy - sounds ok.. just the $$ is the killer at the moment.. just spent a heap on my holiday and on the car.. which led to melting the clutch.. hehehe...
extra hours at work for me for the next few weeks.. *sigh*
paul - i have reservations about lightening the original one as well.. taking too much metal out of it can cause hotspots and all sorts of other problems...
