aidwin - check out the kevlar splits at jaycar - they sound mint and are only about $150.. they should fit under the factory grills

seeya brett.. aidwin - 1.1 bar boost cut? not sure.. most ive run is 0.9bar and the stock controller is disconnected so i don't think the ecu could see the boost it's running anyway could it?

heya kyles - heard you were there last night - still haven't met u yet.. aidwin - thanks bud.. it does sound heaps different with the dump pipe.. and running 0.9bar always helps make some cool noises.. hehehe

sounds like autoclutch is the way to go.. will check them out.. now all i need to do it track down a flywheel... anyone got any ideas on these?

i drove sly33 with a 2600lb pressure plate in it - was heavy - but i've got a bit of weight to put behind the pedal.. i thought it wasn't too heavy to live with.. would also reduce the number of ppl able to drive my car.. always a good thing..

mrgtst - 800 just for the clutch and machining?!?!? and only 2000lbs? or did it include install? also - i thought 2600lbs was the go for a pressure plate?

hmm 1k is outta my budget.... i was hoping to get the clutch, flywheel and install for around that... am i dreaming?

lol @ paul... the 2nd run did it the damage - there was no problems after the 1st run.. it was fine.. probably would've made a month or more.... at least the old man offered to pay half.. looks like that flywheel will HAVE to go with the clutch hey?!? hehehe

Aidwin - how much did the guy pay xspeed? there weren't any gtrs that i saw last night.. some guy reckoned mine was the fastest line there and my best was only a 13.6 paul - i know, just alot of $$ to outlay straight after a holiday and a heap already spent!!

aiwin - mine not going to be working very soon.. clutch is dead.. there were heaps down there.. only got 4 runs in from 7 till 10!

hey paul.. yea - tho it would've been better if i didn't have to watch the old man melt the clutch for the final time... it's slipping badly.. time for a new clutch and flywheel.. alot earlier than expected!

neo - not on the first run.. things got a bit hot by the last one so it was pinging a little.. but to it's credit i was running 0.9bar! as for the blame it on dad - the clutch was pretty hammered by me beforehand over the last year.. he just cooked it for the final time...
