i'm not expecting a huge power gain.. just things to be alot more useable.. i'd think i'd be lucky to see anything near 250 at the wheels.. am getting about 230 now and the clutch is fine..

top end? nah.. would rather a big fat power band that runs out around 6500 than something like it is at the moment.. peak power at 6800.. it just means the limiter gets a real workout..

paul - i'm hoping so.. i just don't want him to push it real hard a blow things up.. cause i've heard he can be prone to doing that.. as for the new clutch.. am expecting that.. i'm suprised mine still works at the moment.. my driving abilities are not high on clutch care.. hehehe

joe - i was too busy saying to aidwin "what the..." when he did that.. i forgot to brake for a while.. i think aidwin left a few brown stains behind.. hehehe

paul - not sure.. have been told go 2 deg.. then told go 4.. am going to leave it to him.. basically i want a smooth and full power curve.. not after huge numbers up top cause that won't be very safe with only the piggyback computers i've got running..

oh yea - and i forgot.. am going to throw the hks evc at him and say "make this work" so i have cool boost controlling capability and hopefully will get rid of the 14 psi spikes i've been seeing...

thanks mate.. again - muchly appreciated.. what do you drink? as for mods.. it's getting a dump pipe and the cam gear.. and hopefully some good tuning to boot... also getting the cam blet and diff oil done and he's going to go over the whole car.. i told him if anything is broke or near broke - ring me and i'll let him know if he should fix it - depending on $$ that should be good incentive for him to find stuff.. will hopefully run completely different when i get it back.. i just want the surgy power to become clean and sparkly..

dan - nah.. they've more than screwed me... last month it was insured at a confirmed value of 32k (this value is with stereo which they confirmed with me last month) for a bit over $1300.. It's comming up for renewal and they've come back with an insured value of 22k and a premium of $960... somehow i get the feeling i should get the ky out and get ready to touch my toes..
