  1. Are you running a standard clutch? I'd say revving without going anywhere says that the clutch is slipping. Cooler may have unlocked some extra power and tipped the clutch over the edge?
  2. either that or give her a spanking..
  3. Black smoke and not running probably means you didn't connect up a cooler pipe properly when putting everything back together. AFM sees lots of air so gives the engine lots of fuel. Engine sees little air so pumps the fuel out the back in the form of black smoke and backfires until it floods and stalls.
  4. Find out who the girl was - make her pay for the damage.. scare her and make her life hell by going and talking to her parents..

  6. Try out Sunday afternoon traffic trying to get back into London. 4 hours to cover 10kms.. Now THATS bad... we got it good in Perth..

  14. I've got the manual to this at home (I think).. you need to calibrate the controller - it tells you how in the manual.. If I've got the file I'll post it..
  15. They are worn. I think they can be machined, though there was no problems with them while I was using them so they probably wouldn't need it. I'll give them a measure and let you know.

  17. With both of the setups it looks like the front three ports go into one pipe and the back three feed direct to the turbo? As Cubes said, looks like you'd get reversion at port three as it would be hitting the combined gases from ports one and two. Also I've read that this sort of setup would produce major hot spots at the point where port two joins port one and where port three joins one and two. This could cause cracking ect in both manifolds. But then again - this is all just theory...
  18. UK & Europe is about 10 to 15mph before they even look at you, which is about 15 to 25 kph.. sucks to be on australian roads hey?
  19. MSRB26 - The machined alloy would then make a direct connection of suspension to chassis right? Wouldn't that make it too hard for traction or are you using them in a drift setup?

  21. Brett - Thanks. Looks like I could send the r33 loom to them to be modified. Just need to find out if the Mines r33 ecu I have can be remaped to suit the Neo.

Righto - I think I've now been able to source a Neo loom, but was thinking that as I'm going to have to try to wire it into the R33 chassis loom anyway, maybe I should just keep the exisiting R33 looms and adapt them to the Neo engine. Also I've got a Mines R33 computer and have been told that these are remap-able so perhaps I could retain that and save on trying to re-wire for the Neo computer. Can anyone substantiate that the Mines computer will be remap-able? Ideas? Comments?
  23. you might be struggling with the stock turbo to get 250rwkw.. round 210~220 will probably be achievable with what you've mentioned.. as for workshop manuals - they were around on the net but seem to have disappeared today.. pm me and I'll let you know how to get hold of them...
