  1. I thought the orange light was the HICAS which was the rear steering system? Or is it a complete package - 4 wheel steering and active diff come as one?
  2. Truth sometimes hurts joe..
  3. hmmm wet roads.. looking out my window it seems there may be a chance of it.. should be on the road by about 4:30 - hope it rains before then! man i gotta find me a new job!
  4. Yay - I've got an active diff!! Now what does it actually do?? From a mechanical point of view.
  5. is it just me or is the post clock fast? jeeze - i must be bored at work!
  6. Try out any Nissan dealer for the belt.. they usually seem to have a catalogue or 2 kicking around for skylines.. I know the one in Wangara definitely does...
  7. Every two weeks?!? jeezus... sounds too much like hard work! Niz - battery caused bad idling?
  8. GTS-t VSPEC: With the brasso comment, does it last for long? I've been using the mequires (spelling?) plastic polish - but because the car gets a bit of morning sun on them it tends to turn the lenses into that cloudy whitish colour again within about 2 weeks...
  9. From experience, Nexus_Six is waaaaay right! Be careful of that "I don't care" comment Boosted, you could get yourself into all sorts of trouble...
  10. Has anyone used that Bikiniwash mob? I was thinking of getting them to do my car and a friends as a Bucks day stunt - you know, girls not wearing much in front of a bunch of pissed seedy guys? hehe.. Good/Bad reports welcome. Don't want my car's paint to be ruined just for a laugh for the boys...
  11. Soooo... is anyone still interested on doing this cruise? Depending on how far people want to go - there's also some pretty cool roads up Chittering way.. Sweeping bends and no other traffic makes for fun..
  12. PVA - how much for both of them? How do they go with std suspension - make much difference?
  13. PVA - staying on topic, just goto your nearest license center, get the book, flick thru it and go straight into doing the learner's test. It's so easy it's not funny. Then get some lessons and get some experience on the road. Once you get confident and realise the fact that all cars are trying to kill you it becomes very easy. You'll be restricted to a 250 for the first year, but I guarrantee it'll be worth the wait. Any std sports bike worth anything will do at least a 11.5 - 12 second pass on the 1/4.. mine is 14 years old and will still crack a 12..
  14. Thanks for the info Niz, I'll check it out.. Anybody else got recommendations?
  15. Is there anyone on here who will recommend somewhere other than c-red? Personal experience tells me some places cause too much hassle and agro. I'm looking for somewhere to do a major service on my R33. As in cam belt and a general check of everything - including diff. Any takers? And before you mention back yard - I have little spare time, the time I do have I want to spend driving my toy hard - I just want somewhere that is reliable, tells the truth and is easy to deal with..
