  1. Mitch - Could do. Will find out details from the post office - won't be a small box as you can't really compress the trims that much.. I could try and flat pack it for you?
  2. awww cmon Dan.. just pokin a bit of fun..
  3. As the title states.. 1. STD Front disc rotors - $200 2. Entire Boot trim and carpets - $300 3. STD Intercooler from GTST - $150 4. STD airbox snorkle - SOLD If interstate, postage paid by buyer. If in Perth, can either pickup or organise drop off. Ill get some pics up tonight.
  4. After the gearstick boot and plastic surround. Also A pillar trim on drivers side. PM prices please.
  5. you guys already spent the $$ on these and now that they're f*king up you're going to buy the same thing to replace it? I'd be talking to the shop telling them that the gear was great for short term applications.... Dan - I know Alex was having the same problems with the dials sticking on his car. It was that the glue that holds them on had given up and they were catching on the needles. I think he ripped his off.
  6. Comeon guys.. there must be someone here who can point me in the right direction for std RB20 compressor maps?
  7. black smoke? if so perhaps burst cooler pipe?
  8. teejay - would like to see the results. Are they on this forum? Steve - long time no chat. Hope all is well. Who/where is the combo available from? R31 - looks like a mint car, but wouldn't be able to get enough for mine to buy it. Whole thing is at inquiry stage at this point - hence me wanting to have a chat to some people with experience in it.
  9. 0.8 bar was enough to make mine turbo go pop - but that was after a years worth of driving with 270rwhp.
  10. Hmm.. I know about that thread and I'm scared of it. Alot to look through as I can't seem to get the search to work on a single thread. Am I using it wrong?
  11. Hi guys, I've tried the search and couldn't get anything sensible. Does anyone have the compressor maps for the RB20 and RB25 standard turbos? Need to check them out to see how they will suit applied to a toyota 2.5L engine. Strange I know, but one of the guys at work has bought the setup and we're trying to get some science into it. Cheers, Cam
  12. Thanks mate. I appreciate it.
  13. $5k min? Hmm. A bit more than what I was thinking - not too much more, but a bit. Is that using a new block? Do you mind PMing me the price breakdown if you have it? Cam
  14. Joe - thanks for the link. Gradenko - budget, not sure yet? Care to throw some figures at me? Was thinking of keeping the same head/intake/exhaust/turbo setup if I can. Boost - I'm aware of the time factor and for that reason (and cause I'm lazy) might end up getting a workshop to do it. Rattling - nowhere near that yet, just drinking the odd bit of oil at the moment. Not a huge thing as I'm hardly driving it. Just wanting to actually see what one goes like.
  15. Has anyone in Perth built a RB25/30 or had one built for them? Is there anyone running one in an R33 at the moment who could take me out for a ride? I have suspected broken ring lands and am wanting to look at options outside of the norm.
  16. I had massive long term problems like this with my old VL. Tried two separate dealers and a so called engine management guru.. none could find the problem and I found it only by accident. Check the connection to the coil. There should be a spark lead on one end and a plug with two wires at the other. Check the crimp connectors on the two wires. They will probably be worn and loose so close them up with some pliers so they make good contact. Hope it works..
  17. did she perhaps hear about this one on the 1/4/05?
  18. Brazen - thanks for the info. Interesting.. Boost - yea sorta man..
  19. First the hoon laws, now no rally.. and now this?!?!?! http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/20050...03/s1335245.htm
  20. Think about volume here guys.. you've increased the boosted volume by fitting a bigger cooler and the BOV can't get it all out in time before it bounces back to the compressor... Try adjusting the BOV to it's max setting..
  21. or the snakes... they're always good to find outside your door at 5am..
  22. So has anyone done anything since? I've got the same clunking problem. Benm/Butthead - did you ever fix the clunking steering wheel?
  23. Fantastic.. what a wonderful state we live in...
  24. Some transport security bloke got his car impounded by the police. Big difference between screeching off from the lights and doing a burnout though.. sounds like he could've been hard done by on this one..
  25. *cough* perth driver *cough* Nah - not while lanesplitting. Funny thing was, that during peak hour traffic I always found it was safer to split as people would always try to take up my spot in the lane *ignoring* the fact that I was there. Farkin Perth drivers suck....
