the fan shouldn't keep running at high revs.. the clutch should let go way before redline.. if it's still spinning up high - regardless of temp - you have a prob with it..

Is is when the aircon is turned on? Mine does the same at certain temp settings on the aircon. Haven't found the source yet..

If it is the fan clutch - be careful.. it hangs off the water pump shaft.. reving it too high could damage the water pump..

Mine has done something similar since I've put it back on the road after it being in storage for 6 months. It's like the temp sensor can't work things out. Set at 20deg it's mega cold, but put it to 21deg and it cranks the heater? Ideas? Comments?

Stock R33 turbos sure are water cooled. Have pulled out a few now. Interesting thread by the way....

I thought at that sort of boost you usually max out the voltage on the AFM and the stock ecu cuts fuel - basically a method of boost cut. Mine did it at 0.9bar on cold nights.. denser air means more airflow means more voltage for afm means maxed out afm..

oh - and one more thing.. he's probably helping insurance premiums go up a little with his refusing to pay..... f*rkin d*ickhead.... /definite rant off...

My question is, how can the guy afford a car when he owes $4000 to insurance companies for his first f*kup? The issue isn't a young driver in a car, it's a driver with no form of insurance who could crash into any of us.. Mike, I wouldn't go driving/cruising with him.. I also wouldn't want him on any of our cruises. If he hits you or anyone else how is he going to pay for the damage? At least 3rd party would cover damage to other cars.. Sounds like he's on the way to being taken to court again... sometime soon... He sounds like a pure d*khead.. /rant

check fluid in the gearbox... if that don't fix it it sounds like workshop time...
