  1. So you guys picked them up yet? Zanda - I wanna see how it looks.
  2. Thanks Paul - yea, can you tell steve to make it some time mid next week? I'm up at site at the moment and should be back in Perth Wednesday..
  3. Tim - it's not their fault.. they are suffering from "Small Penis Syndrome". Unfortunately they cannot help their actions as it is brought about by a lack of punani or by punani laughing at the tiny member down below. Hence chopping an excel in a bog stock R33 is the best they can do. Their loud lewd comments were probably a mixture of "Small Penis Syndrome" and "I'm a F*KWIT" version of "Turrets Syndrome". In short - they are very gutless people who would run and hide when confronted on their own. Perth seems to be full of them. JiMiH has the right idea..
  4. The twin blade is going well. Boosts better than the old one and seems to hold more boost on the same actuator. I think my old S2 single blader was fairly shagged out!
  5. Thanks for the info Cameron. The new turbo seems to go better so I'd say my S2 one was fairly shagged out..
  6. GOT BOOST - thoughts appreciated. Have also posted in the forced induction area.. maybe someone has seen this style before...
  7. After comments - on inspecting the compressor wheel on my old turbo vs my new one, I found that the new one has dual vanes while the old one has single? Both turbos are stock units? Pics located in this post: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...85&postcount=23
  8. Getting the stud out today so will bolt on tonight and give a 'seat of the pants' verdict. GOT BOOST - What makes you say the single blade compressor would be better?
  9. Pic of the old vs new exhaust wheel. Notice the difference? old one go :Bang:
  10. Pic attached of the poor workmanship of the dump. Absolutely pathetic and I think people should know so they can be aware of the quality of work to expect out of some places. You could argue that it'll work - which it will - but you'd expect this sort of crappy workmanship out of a backyard mob - not from somewhere who suposedly specialises in "performance" work.
  11. Righto - Pic of the old vs new compressor wheels attached.. Any ideas?
  12. Hmm - fitting the turbo is turning into more than just a re-bolt on. Have found some problems as a direct result of bad workmanship by *** performance (in wangara - you work it out) who fitted the dump - missing bolts and flange holes not lining up by a mile. You wouldn't think the fabrication of a flange would be so hard... Anyways - on inspecting the compressor wheel on my old turbo vs my new one, I found that the new one has dual vanes while the old one has single? Any ideas? I'll post up comparative pics tonight.
  13. Thanks for the info guys.. I ended up saving my pennies for now and sourcing a 2nd hand stock unit.. The upgrade will be comming after my Euro trip this year (which is why I'm trying to save $)... Again - thanks guys.. I think I'll be getting a VL unit in October.
  14. Gradenko - I'll be fitting my replacement turbo tomorrow morning so the car is already in bits. You're more than welcome to come round then and borrow the AFM for a while... PM me if you're interested...
  15. chris - no good bud.. good luck with the insurance claim.. sounds like she'll be paying it off for a while.. LOL @ mark....
  16. Not unless I go back to another stockie Boo5t... Ken - sorry I didn't get round, been very very busy at work.. Thanks for the info guys.. Muchly appreciated..
  17. GCG - I'll have a look. Thanks.. Upgrade - nah.. I'll wait till I can throw about 12k at it to do it properly.
  18. Hey all - am chasing the names of companies that can rebuild my turbo. The only one I know of is Turbotech. Any others that you would recommend or have experience with? PM me if you feel your comments aren't appropriate for the forum. Thanks...
  19. I'm the best paid 3 year old I know! I'm 27..
  20. So you're the bastard smoking it up outside my place late at night..
  21. nah - gotta be at the gym and then go get my xbox chipped plus i'd just be telling you "you're doing it wrong - do it like this" and then end up doing it for ya.. but i know you know this and thats why you invited me..
  22. LOL - go Adrian.. Good luck with it guys..
  23. fane - yea, you can run it off a map (manifold ?absolute? pressure) sensor instead... gets rid of the problem of the afm maxing out at high airflows..
  24. Yea - I only saw Ant's run but couldn't believe the way it revved. As soon as it was on boost it hit the limiter! But would more load have made for less traction? Seemed with the dude sitting in the boot and the people in the car they still had issues with it..
  25. OR having a old R30 with collapsed rear suspension and a nasty diff noise with a turbo kit on it.. that will be a sleeper..
