  2. Nah still Vi-pec...Jim says its doing the job just fine. Would work better with proper crank trigger instead of factory CAS over 9500rpm. But up to 9500 the vi-pec is doing a stellar job....makes 25psi instantly on the anti-lag at 7000rpm with 25deg out of it. the MoTeC is for the new car.

  4. yeah...it would be really dumb to spend 1/2 the day on the highway going to Newcastle and back when all the good action is at your doorstep at Sydney Dragway. another really dumb thing is to meet at Dixon Park...the police/DECC will be waiting for you there.
  5. Because AVESCO wanted to put sponsorship related to an alcohol product on it. Nissan Australia recalled the car.
  6. We are making more power than before...but the torque graph tells more of a story...peak torque earlier in the rev. range and holds the line almost horizontal all the way to 10 000rpm.

  8. turbo's will be not quite RS'...too big for my driving ability...or lack there of on a circuit. spent a big day at CRD with Jim and Con...car is making some good progress. Testing on Monday at Sydney Dragway...will be a good day. Many thanks to CRD for sorting the car out...should be quick.

  18. Yeah...its really painful to hear opinions from people who have had absolutely no experience with a product but seem to be an expert overnight. The Nitto will rev much better than the Tomei, will work properly straight out of the box and be stronger.
  19. one word...Nitto. The stealth bomber will look like a standard car, sound like a standard car but go like a supercar. Its the only way to do them these days with all the negative views towards the modified car scene. Under the bonnet the car will appear to be totally standard but will be nudging 400KW. The brakes and suspension will be big dollar top shelf stuff though and may give the game away. Croydon Racing will be in charge of the tuning and set-up. I can do a head identical to the one on my racecar as a 20K long engine package if you like.

  22. most of its gone...kept the best bits though....engine/driveline...etc. Car is still complete until after Compak Attak on the 28th. Full day prep on friday...hit the track monday with a set-up more suited for drag racing.
