  1. I have precisely what you are after...make me a reasonable offer.
  2. i have a slightly used 600hp one (around 100 hrs) if you want to swap. Can i tempt you with a few Edith Cowan's ??
  3. when you say 'complete block' what does that include ?
  4. but haven't you done just that when you put a spacer plate on the bottom of your engine? It would lower the front driveshafts connection point by the thickness of the plate so therefore alter the angle...yes?
  5. mega diissshhhhage there.
  6. wrong thread...please move out of WA section to general please.
  7. I have 3 sets of used pistons available...all in good condition with brand new ring packages. HKS RB26 87mm $650 CP RB25 86.5mm (almost new) $650 (this is more than 50% off new and comes in original packaging) Aries RB26 86mm with teflon coated skirts. $500
  8. no must be weld in...the side intrusion bars can be bolt in though.
  9. remove dash...drill a small hole through to bubble from rear...be careful to not put a hole in dash exterior...fill large syringe with upholstery adhesive...inject bubble with adhesive until full...work adhesive back out hole while wet...leave for 5 mins...work bubble from edges to centre to stick back down. easy!
  10. echo echo echo
  11. I used an 040 as a lift pump for 2 x 044's and it supported over 620AWKW...so that part should be just fine.
  12. Russ...where are you located?
  13. are the injectors new or second hand? if not new id get Mark to give them a clean and test on his new machine to make sure they are all good. We had a car down on power due to a faulty injector that was brand new.
  14. no one left a rag in the piping when the build was done?...its been done before. Id check the pipework, check the camshaft timing and then drop the exhaust and give it a run. Mark should be able to sort it out for you. He's a great tuner...he may just need the car for a day to test a few things.
  15. incorrect clutch bearing clearance is the main cause of premature thrust wear in a manual car...this also lines up with the symptoms of crunching the gearbox. The clutch bearing id say had preload on the pressure plate. pm me if you need assistance with an engine.
  16. Ive tightened up the old Cp's a quarter of a thou...no issues at all. But the newer ring package they come with seals a lot better and really there is no need to run 3.25 thou. 3.5 thou will allow you to run as much boost as you like as well. beware though...some guys use mild steel torque plates but they do not flex like an alloy head does and doesn't replicate whats really going on when a head is fitted to the block.

  18. Last i saw of him was in the lobby at the Betty Ford Clinic.
  19. $2000...no offers picture link below to rims fitted on car http://yfrog.com/4c071217two06l04larget
  20. you could go through a lot of $300 05U's till it started to be worth the $$. but as i said before some guys who have money to spend will do just that.
  21. It may have been an investment by Hills to look after Duncan considering his position here on the forums. He has already been in two threads backing their work...maybe Mark has turned over a new leaf and is doing the right thing by people for a change. When you take into account $800 of that is tied up in just the sump adaptor i cannot work out how it can be done for that price Does look the goods though.
  22. one of our heads went back to back with a bullet item on a big car in WA. i wont say which one was better
  23. Ive sold RRR blocks for five figures...so those guys with that sort of coin would be interested. personally unless your after over 1500hp a normal 05U block will do the job. Most of the big hp GTR's in this country are using 05U blocks without an issue. Blocks split and crack due to poor engine harmonics than anything else, an engine prepped and assembled properly with a sensible bore size will not have block issues. The only real advantage of the N1 item is the thicker deck which does in some applications prevent fatigue cracks around the head stud holes when running mega boost.
