  1. if thats the case and the baby has arrived...Stace and I may make a road trip down to run the car. We'll see how things go. Can anyone suggest some accom. close by?
  2. where r u located?
  3. Well done guys...looks the goods.
  4. I bought one of these a few months ago for a super special price of $1900...its not what you know its who http://www.shopbot.com.au/p-29834-1113997.html
  5. Richard, GReddy International (USA) and Japan ran a conference in the city on Tuesday...on Wednesday they came to CRD to use the dyno and demonstrate a couple of their products namely the Emanage ECU and the Vmanage V-Tec controller for the Honda. They tied up Jim's dyno all day (bastards!), but were treated to a couple of "twoogle" runs after they were finished. here's a video of two of the dyno runs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qll0qx3aFfI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPV-MgMWt2U
  6. i agree you guys must all go out with super models the girl with the sash on gets my vote for chick of the thread. (3rd pic in blue)
  7. hi russ those numbers were betttered last night with an easy 487AWKW @ 25psi 11.5:1 AFR my best so far is a 10.36 @ 134 not too bad for a beginner, just when i started to get the hang of it the car broke (first the 2530 turbo's then on the first outing with the new GT-RS's the oil pump) which puts us where we are today. I see your time, you must run altered final drive or use a dog box as your MPH seems a little high for 400awkw (with a full weight car), or the fact you can shift the car better/quicker might be the case. Arthur Eyre in NZ has ran 10.17 on 2540's but with slicks and NOS which i am told is the No.1 time for a "bolt on" turbo GTR (low mounts). You guys are bloody legends who can obviously drive the pants off the GTR...to be put in the same league as you guys is an honour. But...ill smash your ET and MPH...hehe
  8. after an old style Power FC commander...must have FCC2 serial number on the back
  9. we didnt attend due to our dyno time being held up by GReddy international didnt get the car loaded until 7.30 and due to the fact the M4 was packed and WSID was full we decided that going out there to wait in line all night for 1 pass was not worth it. ahh well...the car is ready to run.
  10. thank god it wasn't me...we didnt attend due to our dyno time being held up by GReddy international didnt get the car loaded until 7.30 and due to the fact the M4 was packed and WSID was full we decided that going out there to wait in line all night for 1 pass was not worth it.
  11. added...group buy now closed till next batch. will pm the list with banking details.
  12. Thanks Adam, ill give a full rundown of how things went on Thursday.
  13. Right, car is at Croydon's ready to be prepped tomm. for Wicked Wednesday at WSID tomm. night. can't wait to give it a run!
  14. Added to list Dave, only one left guys, be quick!
  15. 2rismo, thanks as per phone call...ever thought of being a puppeteer...you certainly know how to pull a few strings.
  16. more like ...way too much timing caused excessive heat and melted pistons, valves and head. anyway...this is our thread...not theirs...lol back on topic
  17. rumour has it the last bottom end was a $30 000 Titan Motorsports item from the states. ouch!
  18. yes zertek...r32 gts-4 also
  19. Cheer's thanks for the support... Miss 2j is busted...catestrophic engine failure. While we did go on the dyno, our car is no dyno queen. We'd be happy to match "miss 2j" up against our beast at the strip...12.2 with her husband driving is far from impressive, and a 1.36 around Wakefield is very poor...Stace runs 11's with only 350kw, and im sure a standard Supra could beat that wakefield time quite easily. A car with a 1000rpm power band does not really "float my boat"....But if thats their thing good luck to them, we rather enjoy what we have built than look at it in a show. Don't get what i have said here the wrong way, as both Jodi and Ross are lovely people, its just a little tiring people comparing our cars all the time. They built theirs to win show trophy's we built ours to race. The engine build is on par with RH9, JUN, DEVLISH, GTR700 and other monster's that have come out of the CRD garage, the only thing stopping this engine from making big dyno numbers is the size of the turbo(s). Nothing more. Dave...may take you up on the CDI offer mate.
  20. Dropping the car off back at Croydon's tomm. for full tune and possibly fitting the Autronic ecu. If not fitting the Autronic ill run the car Wednesday night with the Power FC PRO fitted and use the two-step to get it off the line. Will be interesting to see what sort of numbers it will run. Ill be taking photo's/video's of dyno runs and drag runs too....stay tuned!
