  1. we remove them and change the camber settings to compensate....result is the same contact patch as before but with reduced weight and improved rear squat. We have one of the best street tyred IRS 60 foots in the country to back my theory up. Its over 1.5 tonne has a little over 400kw and 60's in the high 1.4's. widebody, i also use HKS Hyperdampers...but not the "drag spec" ones...they take a bit of testing to get them right but once you do the car hooks up well.
  2. its either a Hiace van, a Toyota Landcruiser Troopy or a Western Star truck. Or possibly a bit of each.
  3. yes. have you selected the Z32 AFM in the menu (if you have reset the STD AFM will be selected)...it may cure the problem...until properly tuned. the engine is seeing more air than the Z32 is indicating (its probably set up for the STD AFM)...hence the injectors are not putting enough fuel in your engine. The power fc should run rich with a base map with the Z32 selected so should be nice and safe.
  4. This may be the night we test our new set-up...would be good if we make it. Still waiting on the injectors Theo "apparantly" sent last Tuesday...my patience is starting to be tested.
  5. ive got a full set in great condition...make me an offer
  6. a video is a great idea 'silver' ill see what i can do to get some of the full power runs "u-tubed"
  7. Stuart at Bezerkley Automotive is the man to look after Nissan's in "the gong"
  8. oh i see the picture now Dave...lots of lift and duration....lots
  9. mount it under the car, a rectangular box can be used and fitted next to fuel tank on drivers side (R32)
  10. id race a 500+ kw GTR against almost anything to 100MPH and win especially on normal tarmac roads (not that i would ever condone such an activity) Croydon had a Lamborghini Murcelago on the dyno the other day and id pit a mildly tuned GTR against it any day.
  11. Yeah, good on ya Nick...you don't have to name them...everybody knows your refering to me and Duncan. :laughing-smiley-014:
  12. This is the best 32 GTR for sale in Aust at the moment....if only i was rich...it would be mine
  13. Yes, a thinner o-ring will be required if fitting to a std fuel rail. All the Jap injectors are made by Nippon Denso so brand name eg, SARD, Biltz etc is irrevalent. I believe a batch of SARD (Nippon Denso) injectors need to be filed down, this has now been rectified so some old stock will need modification. Please don't start a brand war as people who do don't know what they are on about. HKS, Blitz, SARD, Nismo etc are all from the same manufacturing plant.
  14. phone 0419259522
  15. Torque is what eats up the fuel...so a peaky torque engine will use less injector duty than a broad torque engine for the equivalent peak power level. Our old engine comfortably made 440-450 kw on the 720cc injectors due to the narrow band of peak torque it produced. Our new engine on the other hand has a big flat fat torque curve that is using up all the injector duty. Hope this helps in explaining how we previously had more power but less torque and lower injector duty and now we have lower power but increased torque and increased injector duty. Time for the 1000cc jobbies.
  16. Once the new 1000cc injectors arrive
  17. I just made that same power with GT-RS turbo's on 21 psi with pump fuel and a light tune. a few differences though Nissan crank, bigger cams, more headwork. but much the same. All big $$ brand name stuff, Jun Hypertune etc. It will see some more boost this week as well as some race fuel and increased timing figures. but budget at least $25000-$30000
  18. depending on the price ill get either the injectors off BU5TER or Theo...Theo says he will post them down on Monday so ill ring BU5TER tonight for a price. What particulars were you after?
  19. Well done to 1JZ-747 with it finally seeing a 9 Top stuff "elvis" all of the Windale-Gateshead bowling club were cheering you on! winning the event and resetting the national record and winning the championship well done to 2rismo and Taryn for winning SFWD
  20. Yes..initially i was thinking we would but i was talked into believeing we wouldn't produce so much torque (torque chews fuel up not power). I think Jim was surprised how well the GT-RS performed, and to tell you the truth...so was I. All i can say at this stage, is once properly tuned..."This thing is gonna be good" BU5TER thanks for the offer mate, and as per the phone discussion yesterday get back to me with a price.
  21. What about running a variable voltage controller on the hydraulic pump...just a thought. just buy a HKS ETC-EDA it l do exactly what you want. or buy an Apex'i manual pump lever. easy
