Thats right...decided to put the engine back in the GTR. Car is currently at Hypertune ( www.hypertune.net ) getting intercooler pipework, coolant header tank, coolant overflow tank and catchcan fabricated. As well as fitting the monster 102mm throttle body. Late this week the car will head to Croydon's ( www.croydonracingdevelopments.com ) for priming, starting, tuning and run-in. This will be a big relief to have the car back up and running. Racing should not be too far away. A big thanks to Glen Laws for all his assistance as well as Ben Creswick and the boys at Hypertune for all their work. Will keep you posted.

I will say it can't be done...just because if i say that some bugger will try to do it. ill be the 1st to shake the hand of somebody who can acomplish this feat. after a few broken engines and gearboxes they will agree with me...it can't be done.

Engine's in...trying to make an appearance on ANZAC day...ill be out there doing runs for Grandad. WWII Borneo, Malaya and New Guinea.

Ive seen two cars...one a Targa Tasmainia entrant remove N1's and go back to STD R34 GTR turbo's...with remarkable results.

and look like your car...nnnnnooooooooo the LM's were only 17" and looked a little small by todays standards, so i went for the Z-tune look with the R34 rims. BTW LM GT4's are sooo last year!

I wanted the updated look for our car...its silver (original colour) and we have the clear front and side indicators already installed. The bronze Nismo LM-GT4 rims that were on it are sold to a friend so.... i got these now...i think they will look great...

$3500...wtf this is a give away...look at the costs... GTR 2nd hand box...$1000 R33 update parts (requred for OS gearset)...$700 labour for overhaul and installation...$700 5 speed OS gearset with upgraded input shaft (if you can get one)...$4200 grand total $6600 BARGAIN AT $3500

Well...this must mean YOU stole the colour from me...as mine was "Blueprint" years ago. The Nismo plenum was a waste of cash...you should have bought a real one.

Mine used to be Ford "Blueprint" its now Ford "Shockwave" due to the fact a friend of mine bought a ute in this colour. What colour is yours Shane ? is it the same or just a close match ? IMHO the blue plenum is a bit too much (ceramic chrome looks better and is funtional)...but to each their own

The bad experience wasn't the fact they had to part with their money to pay for the good quality work done? BTW Mick Stanic doesn't work for Mark anymore. Ive heard a few horror stories relating to him.

Cool...now you can "educate" Boostworx. It worries me that they have never done a dump pipe upgrade on a GTR...I'd take it to Tillbrooks mate.
