  3. Well i always use the dent to go by when instaling "genuine" HKS dumps. not a great pick..but mine have a crease..not dint..and its always been there in HKS items. EDIT. just looked at your latest pics...def. a production job...you can see from my pick the lack of clearance with the "bigger low-mounts. HKS pride themselves on being a bolt-on item, this dent is to achieve that. do you realise how hard that pipe needs to be hit to dent it like that...bloody hard.
  4. nothing more lonely than when your picking your ringlands out of your sump...hehe
  5. sorry this car is already waiting patiently in line
  6. twins are always more fun "twins basil twins"
  7. Big enough box to not be "half baked"
  8. Check the ATTESSA fluid levels...its behind the drivers side trim in the boot. Also make sure the systems bled properly.

  10. a late model R32 gearbox and all R33 gearboxes are pull type belhousings...these have the boss cast into them to convert them to push. Early R32 gearboxes are push and do not have the boss cast into the belhousing to convert them to pull. no difference in strength
  11. Stace hates big singles, dog boxes, nitrous and slicks. This may have something to do with it too...lol MattSR, thanks mate, yeah its bullet proof alright. The limiting factor is definately the turbo's...and the driver
  12. We want to be the first low-mount GTR into the 9's. we want to do this on street tyres, synchro gearbox and no NOS for additional "cred" sure there are easier ways to run fast times eg. big single turbo, dog box, slicks and heaps of gas but this way the car can still be street driven, not a hassle to drive around town and still have enough down low to do circuit days etc.
  13. here's a list...you work it out BLOCK...sonic test, chemically clean, torque plate bore and hone, mill block, drill and tap for 12mm main studs CRANK...new Nissan crankshaft, drill crankshaft to remove alloy oil plugs and tap for screw type ENGINE...JUN pistons pins and rings, JUN conrods, JUN oil pump, JUN main studs, ARP head studs, Tomei cam cap studs, new Nissan oil squirters and bolts, TRUST "drag" head gasket, JUN metal inlet exhaust gasket kit, Nissan gasket set, Hi Octane 9 litre baffled sump. 15. Hypertune Plenum and CNC'd runners and single Hypertune throttle body with 97mm butterfly. No MAP sensors...new Z32 AFM's actually...it will work.
  16. i use a Greddy kit with thermoblock but have upgraded the core to an Earls unit
  17. abrasive porting sometimes removes material you dont want removed and doesnt remove material you want to. the guy who did this work is the head mechanic for a Top Alcohol Dragster team...a much sought after porter who does not accept any public work...i was very lucky to have been able to have him perform work for us. BTW he charges accordingly...this sort of work is very expensive.
  18. but its not a great looking bank balance...some more shots
