  1. its 10 thou- on the big ends and mains...if your crank needs to be ground, balanced, crack tested and a collar fitted it would be the same cost as buying this one....essentially this crank is free....its the preparation your paying for.
  2. because when the oil pump disintergrated it rounded off the flats and marked it up a bit....the collar is stronger due to its superior mettalurgy. Id collar any high rpm crank with this item R33 or not...perfect match for the JUN pump as well
  3. we have a fully prepped race crank (RB26) on offer... sonic tested, cryogenic treated, cross drilled, grub screwed, JUN oil collar fitted (new), ground and balanced. this is all ready to be fitted. all work professionally carried out by Croydon Racing Developments and is available to be picked up from their workshop at Silverwater in Sydney. $650...no offers please
  4. Well "maccattack" you were the successful bidder on this item...our breast cancer charity of choice is the Jane McGrath foundation. ill pm you the account details and if you could forward the deposit details and your mailing address we will forward the item onto you (will make a great xmas decoration)
  5. My mate runs the Caravan Park where we were last year so if we are in need of a BBQ i can arrange we use the facilities there or there's good shade and BBQ's at nearby Spencer Park at the tennis club, Everitt park is not really a park...more a bushy hill....BTW we are in!
  6. im going from pull to push so ill need pivot ball, clutch fork and bearing carrier. Thanks
  7. my sister went over to NZ and married a Maori......i now know why she did this....to give me a place to stay while this event is on....thanks sis!
  8. there are two switches screwed into the drivers side of the gearbox....from memory the reverse is the rear one...wire it up to that and it should work if all else is ok.
  9. if we can't get over for a run ill be sure there to have a peek
  10. its C&V Dave so i'd say there will be some "big" cars there whats been happening with it you ask........lots!
  11. make sure you find the reason for the failure and fix before you fit the new one....be sure the oil lines are clear of blockages (this is what killed ours and several others)
  12. we did this same thing during an event at EC....smashed 3rd between turns 9 and 10 and when the spare box turned up....guess what it was a push type...our box was a pull. So we did the ol' belhousing switcheroo out the back of the pits on top of one of the waste oil drums.....never do that job again without being at a workshop without a hoist. To add to the mayhem the spare box had no reverse!!
  13. reason im asking is im going from pull to push and im looking to swap slave cylinder's, clutch forks, bearing carriers etc...with someone going the other way.
  14. both the same...ive even used atmo push VL flywheels on a pull type GTR set-up before...no problems at all.
  15. Feb 17 is the summer nationals at WSID so i doubt it will be there
  16. Award Gearbox and Diff at Rydalmere, Croydon use them for most of their gearbox/diff work....give them a call....they did our OS Giken gearbox for us and did a stellar job. P.S. speak to Terry
  17. if the cars in Sydney that weekend i may come and give it a run
  18. if you want a quick sale put up some pics...generate a bit of interest....instead of putting people off with comments like "No pictures and there won't be" it makes you sound like a real wanker and makes people suss on the car and the deal.
  19. yeah i paid $180-$200 for a JUN one...can't remember exactly...and that was from a local supplier over the counter
  20. ARC header tank SOLD
  21. the event was poor....ANDRA SC is dying...or already dead.
