They cannot be complied under current laws but......i happen to know of a certain workshop/retailer in Sydney who has had a car (R34 GTR) complied here thats fits the criteria for z-tune conversion that was shipped back to Japan to Nismo to be converted/built. A very costly excercise but im sure once the car is back in Aust. prowling the Sydney streets the owner in sure will think its money well spent.

nice all-round turbo...good comprimise between street and strip. i can see this set-up breaking the 400kw barrier without too much drama on pump gas. then we will try some C16

R33 GTS-t with RB25 and a HKS TO4-Z pump gas at 25psi and 11.8-1 poor old walbro in-tank pump is outa flow so its time for a fuel pump upgrade and 28PSI....lookout 400 well done mate P.S. this was done with a shitty MicroTech rotary ecu!!

for greater oil squirter clearance....place the correct sized copper washer under it (between squirter and block) for extra clearance (Aries pistons require this mod)

Using a two-step ignition cut rev limiter is harsher on the oil pump drive, as soon as we swapped to ign. cut instead of fuel cut....BANG. Pump lasted two launches...but it was 9000rpm and then 9500rpm

A friend of mine up here has one (kil08s) his has a RB24 stroker in it with a rediculous sized T70 high mount on it. It has a HKS F conV for an ecu and was imported by Autostyle for him...ill try and get you some pics

The 1/4 mile dyno didn't lie though 13.09 @ 105 MPH our car was the test car in HPI way back when it was bog stock and i think Ben Ellis managed to reel off back to back 12.9's

we saw 404awkw (540awhp) on pump gas with a similar set-up and over 450awkw on race fuel...what total timing are you running?? with correct camshaft selection and tuning there is no reason why you shouldn't crack 350awkw (470awhp)

They are ok up to 8500rpm.....no higher though.....9000-9500....BANG!!

Too right Duncan....we have one of the largest forum communities in the country but only a handfull make it to the track for "raceday". Having us all together as a group at the track would probably help a lot of the novice racers, as a lot of the more seasoned campaigners could assist with advice, setting up of cars etc. What shits me is you have hundreds of racers at "wicked wednesday's" but only a handful of competitors at competition days. WSID is a definate problem...if you go up to QLD and race its like being on another planet....Willowbank is a stress/attitude free venue that embraces the sport of high-tech drag racing.
