lol i thought it would have gone like this Trent... HMMMM Vi-PEC ... i mean HMMM Link
-
Luke buy a Vi-PEC and a wideband controller and tune it yourself using quicktune. Would work out about the same money. Once you learn how to tune send all the other halfwits running shops up there out of business. Make a shitload of cash, retire early, buy a Yacht and live off Lizard Island with a boat load of hotties. Simple.

Oil Control In Rb's For Circuit Drag Or Drift
Swiper the Fox replied to Sydneykid's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yeah Cubes decided it was mature to PM me calling me a grease monkey (he has no idea of who i am or what i do) then boasting how he was a lawyer or in law school. All this tirade after all i did was point out the group buy he was running was in doubt as i knew the parts he was offering were unavailable as one of my suppliers had them on back order for 6 weeks. He then trawls the site and finds a post where i had a crack at SK and issues me with a warning to get back at me. He's a good thing gone as far as im concerned. cheers for clearing that up Slaps. -

yeah im unsure whether to get HYSTER or STACKA rego plates for it. -
Stacey just bought this RB30 powered machine. http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/privat...=vl&trecs=2 Its in unbelieveable condition and although it looks the goods in the photo's its even better in real life. She squeezed the seller over the price and picked it up for considerably less than what they were asking. I have 4 complete long engines in the shed including a factory turbo item. Im planning on building an exchange engine for it running a GT35R, external gate, intercooler, exhaust and controlled by a Vi-PEC plug in. Will post up some build details when it commences.

Benifits Of Rewiring My New 040?
Swiper the Fox replied to RicsR33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Bosch pumps are designed to run at alternator voltage...i.e 13.5v. Even bypassing the fuel control modulator by providing a direct earth will not be sufficient as due to the increased current draw there is considerable heating of the wire and as a result a considerable voltage drop (ive seen as low as 10.4V) Use the factory fuel pump voltage feed to trigger a new relay switching a direct 6mm feed (use red wire) from the battery (15A fuse wired in at the battery). Earth the pump direct to the body with 4mm black wire and the pump will happily whizz away with its new voltage feed. -

Andra Vs E85 ... Sign The Petition.
Swiper the Fox replied to Butters's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The E85 i was planning to run is produced by CSR and is the control fuel for the V8 Supercars. I obtain it direct from AVESCO Fuel Control so its the real deal and in my opinion the best and most consistent E85 fuel you can get your hands on. Ive just spent big bucks upgrading the fuel system to run this in the car (2000hp fuel pump, fuel cell, aeromotive reg., Hypertune rail, 1600cc injectors and over $1000 worth of -10 and -8 lines and fittings) and now its all a waste of time. Might just have to run 2000cc injectors and use straight Methanol. The VP Roo16 i previously ran was $13.50 a litre!!! I buy the control fuel E85 for $400 per 200 litre drum delivered. i was trying to save on running costs to try and make racing a bit more economic for me but all this excercise has done is cost me more money. -
Andra Vs E85 ... Sign The Petition.
Swiper the Fox replied to Butters's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
done #65 i can see a very big push from racefuel suppliers to have ANDRA ban E85...they put a lot of money into the sport and will stand to loose a big market share if E85 goes onto the approved fuels list. Got nothing to do with fuel analisis...its all about money. -
Did somebody say Vi-PEC? im outa here.....wooshhh!!! Ash likes to say silly things like "Power FC will do the job" but upgrades his operating system to Windows 7 the day it is released. He like to embrace new computer technology for his desktop but leaves his car computer technology way back in the 1990's. lol

its my birthday the day before and i have planned to fly home for it...ill chat to Stace this weekend and see if she will let me fly back the next day to race (its my birthday weekend so im sure ill be able to swing it). put me down as a tentative and ill confirm on Monday Brandon the sweet spot for street tyres in a GTR road car is bang on 7K...any less and you will look silly.

Its good to see you fella's showing the faith. No point trying to re-invent the wheel .
-
Yes...mines also like that....good for 1000hp at the flywheel. I use the stock feed and return as feeds and a -6 braided line as a return. 3 Bosch motorsport pumps (one gauze bottomed swimmer pump in tank and two 044's off the surge tank), 1000cc Blitz injectors, GReddy twin entry fuel rail and a Sard regulator. Works well

First Pass 9.9 @ 147mph Full Trim
Swiper the Fox replied to superjet760's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Paul i have a Diest chute with mount and an RCI harness for sale if you need one. The chute has been fitted to a car but never pulled. -
I know me...and you know me. Mahle's are a great slug...as used by the top V8 Supercar team at the moment. Argo's RB30 rods are made locally in Maitland and have been a long proven item. The Nitto pumps are the best OEM style pump money can buy.

Marko has the best package...Mahle's, Argo's and Nitto.

Swiper the Fox replied to superjet760's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
lol...the other lane had you to the 60' mark...then it was...see ya! nice work Paul...its going to be fast. The C&V boys called Mark for a few pointers about keeping the car straight...once you get it down the track cleanly its going to be fast...an 8 second street GTR is no easy task but you are well on your way. Im heading out again wednesday night with a few mods...but its a bit hot up here so it will be a bonus if it goes quicker. Your car is using Roo16 right? -
is there any restriction on cars for this event?...at WSID cars faster than 10.99 are not permitted to race. as my car lives in Brisbane this would be an ideal event to do some testing with the new fuel set-up and boost control system. Car should run very low 9's. Car is ANDRA log booked, has a current tech inspection and i have a UDL (unlimited drag licence)
-
i could bring the car but the cops would probably lock me up.
