  1. my N/A GTR does 15.4's...ive got the vid to prove it ..hahahaha
  2. correct...a tick and a smiley stamp for you!
  3. Award gearbox and diff at Rydalmere are the only place in Sydney id recommend....simply because they are the best.
  4. 440 at all four...10.3 ET's....no sandwich plate....no worries. Plate is no longer avail. unless you know of someone who has one in stock
  5. Sandwich plate is the thick plate between the front and rear of the gearbox. Sandwich plate flex has been blamed in the past for gearbox failure...but my personal opinion is its only another bit they want you to spend $$ on. I have an OS giken transmission and seems up to the task without the sandwich plate upgrade (which i believe is no longer available.
  6. good point...14psi isn't great for cornering
  7. all you are doing is enlarging the factory drain holes...if you can get a long enough bit you dont need to remove the axle sleeve to do it. But be careful...the wrong angle on the drill can spell disaster.
  8. Have you tried high speed cornering with them...or even low speed for that matter...wrinkle wall slicks would be safer. How they are classified a street tyre is beyond me....but in saying that...while they are ill still use them.
  9. The logger is telling me its almost 2g's on launch
  10. I remember doing low 1.6s on the federals at Drag Wombat...ill dig up the slips. always driving around the water...i.e no burnout
  11. No problem, Ben a Racepace does a similar mods (see previous posts) spoke to him on the phone at length and really knows his stuff. Stacey has done a 1.68 60' before with less power than we have now on Federal road tyres....awesome work. My best is a 1.49...but using the M/T street drag radials....cheating in my eyes as they are almost a slick really, god only knows how they are DOT rated !
  12. Cheers Russ, the times are in the car....im still a n00b at this drag racing stuff. My career as a driver is 5 meetings old !. Slowly getting a handle on it though. High end drag racing is not as easy as some make out to be. From all accounts your an awesome steerer, love to see you in action punting one of Nissan's finest to the max. When Tomi comes back from Japan ill see if i can get some clearer info on the transfer case for you.
  13. From what i could gather from the translation....the transfer case has a number of clutch plates...7 i think....3 thin and 4 thick....the mod involves simply removing all the thick plates and putting thin ones in. From what i could gather, the removal of a thick plate allows you to put two thin ones in its place. So instead of having 7 plates in total you end up with 11. Please correct me if i am incorrect...as this is something i am very "green" on
  14. I shudder to think what the bill may be....will not be ready until Tomi Miyamie comes back from Japan as he is the wizz on these upgrades
  15. We have more than 1 thing in common then...I built our engine in the back of a friends workshop...and built the rest of the car in a granny flat/garage...lol croydons tune it for us.
  16. Ive got the same problem.....its the worn transfer case. Croydon's are modding one for us with extra clutch plates in it...worth a thought
  17. We run M/T street drag radials Unfortunately I don't own the car Tommo, Stace has taken back the keys (after i broke it)....or id give you a drive...lol She has allowed me to run the car with the Croydon boys at a private track hire to try for 9's...meanwhile we will be trying to get her into the 10's
  18. Awesome work Justin...have been keeping an eye on your progress. Who needs a big dirty single turbo.....not you!!
  19. ahh its all clear now...NOS and a dog box...you bugger...Well done!
  20. What was the 60' time....anyone?
  21. Yeah thats correct...but also have ran 10.41 @ 136.8 Hey Justin...i didn't think anyone was slower through the gears than me...lol
  22. you would be correct...old mark was 136.8 MPH well done....low mount's kick ass!!
  23. Hey Mona, whack this on and chop Stacey's 11.9. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=104563
