  1. stale fuel does not combust.....thats why the car wont start....or that is why ours wouldnt. As i said we flushed the tank after we emptied it, (dont forget the lines fuel rail and filter) with fresh fuel and like magic.....the car started. You may have also burnt out your earth lead....did it not let out a large spark when you connected it to the pos+ terminal?
  2. plugs are probably gone now too....go a full flush, fresh batch of fuel and new plugs and i think you may have a goer. good luck Adam
  3. did you flush ALL the fuel out of the tank and lines? as ANY old fuel will contaminate the new brew. This same thing happened with "twoogle"
  4. for me it was the mercy dash to Croydon's and back to get the AFM so i could qualify.....ive never seen a tilt tray corner so hard.
  5. the country coppers have gotta be kidding.....id sooner be defecting the "truck wannabe" B & S "rum pig" utes.......... but shit like that seems to go unnoticed.

  20. The Diemar family could be eating sausages at their christmas table....lol with current makes and numbers it looks like this "parked"....8 R33 GTS-t's along the back, another 8 on the second row, 7 R31's on the next row and 4 R32's along the front.
  21. ok numbers up to 51...should i cater for 75 "lunches" or 100...as some ppl including myself will eat 2 sausage buns and two cans of drink in 2hrs. and can we please have no..."im not eating" as if "your not eating" you would be asked to make a $5 donation anyway.....please all agree as this is not a unreasonable request. Any left over cash will be donated to the SAU N.S.W. club for trophys at next years show and shine.
  22. cool...thanks guys for the lesson. i think ill still save my $$ and spend them elsewhere. We find that the heavy flywheel assists with launch and 60' times as well as slightly assisting with gearchanges. In the 1.4's with 60' and nearly into 9's with the ET's so we must be doing something right. Think ill have more of a benefit with a $3000 NOS setup than a bling tailshaft though.
  23. Over 80 entries now....its starting to look good...over 30 in SRWD alone
  24. what does it matter...its sprung weight?? please tell me the difference, in a drag car we need as much inertia in the drive line we can get...thats why i run a VL atmo flywheel, its nice and heavy. The example you used is a wheel...this is unsprung weight and not a sensible example to use.
  25. Amaru...our engine is using std rods (although heavily prepped) with arp bolts. Only three items in the engine are not Nissan...pistons, camshafts and sump baffles (four if you count the rod bolts). Around 450awkw and a 9250rpm rev limit and still no problems. The engine has its second birthday on Saturday and its copped a flogging from Stacey and I. Dont let it worry you, as GTR's fail more from oiling and piston issues than bent/snapped conrods.
