  1. Ive got an s13 turbo manual ca im currently building a new engine for...car is unmolested in perfect order. Factory sunroof and all power options, heads up display etc...was chasing $5000 for when complete. Has 17inch alloys lowered springs new turbo etc. Engine will have full rebuild including new rings and bearings, new oil and water pump etc fully reco'd head, ACL multi layer head gasket etc. Its dark blue metallic flake paint. Car is complied and registered. Let me know if your keen
  2. yeah the old Haltech stuff was pretty poor....especially the tuning software. From all reports the new stuff is much improved...but it had to be to have any share of the market.
  3. we looked at upgrading to a better/harder material bolt but were a little worried the stronger bolt without any sort of flex may actually cause the cast iron block to fatigue and possibly crack the casting. new genuine bolts and studs are the go in my opinion.
  4. i hope you haven't put smurfs blood in the gearstick hole.
  5. put two engines in it...one for the rear wheels and one for the front that way all the driver outputs (ignition and injection) are utilised....problem solved!
  6. Jesus was busy so you went to God himself...hehe. nice one. You are in good hands.
  7. ill have the rocker covers off the red top. PM me a price
  8. smart fella.
  9. please pm
  10. lol...don't tell me i know boats! 44Nm if ya like...im a bit old school...i talk in ft/lbs.
  11. you left out the pure bred Rotweiller that must be seated as a passenger. the stupid thing is the car now has to wear a steel scatter shield around the bellhousing...add another 5-10 kg. Ballistic blankets for manual cars have now been deemed unsafe by ANDRA....Overseas cars don't need to run 1/2 the safety sh1t we do here.
  12. ring a clutch specialist and ask them...they will tell you exactly what ive just said. What level are you torqueing them too? 33ft/lbs is what they need. Thanks Dan. ;-)
  13. well done...as the 'Enforcer' says..."look after ya baby"
  14. you must ONLY use genuine Nissan bolts...they have the proper shear loading. Even high tensile bolts are unsuitable. Use the wrong bolts you risk loosing your feet...don't do it!! Make sure the clutch locating dowels are installed properly too.
  15. As silly as the rule is im planning on re-fitting the rear seat soon. My friend who is a trimmer has carved the rear seat in 3 pieces and is fitting the insides of the cuts with velcro so its easy to fit as well as modifying the rear side trims to fit. Im doing this for more reasons than being top of this list...the main reason is ive had enough of people saying my car is only quick cause its stripped. Its quick cause its a bloody powerful well set-up car for its purpose...drag first, street second and a race weight of 1571kg including driver shows the car is still quite heavy. The reason the seat is out is to save a misunderstanding when or if i get pulled over by the police...the engineer sugested this was the way to go. Ill go to the top of this list very soon...and by quite a margin.
  16. your bottom end is about double what its worth then factor in that it will cost $500 to freight it to any eastern states...thats why you still have it.
  17. nothing wrong with the stock H/G and i wouldn't be too concerned about him using it. I bet i can even guess who is building it. on a side note ive seen results from pressure testing various brands of rb head gasket and the more expensive ones actually performed the worst.
  18. Some good news... Harry looks to be pulling through OK...should be out of ICU in a few days.
  19. yeah he said he enjoyed working for you...he thought you were a little cautious/sensible...not really the normal customer. Most say turn the boost up...i want a big number etc...you however were patient until you have turbo's upgraded and all the proper support systems in place before turning the boost up. Its a nice safe tune that will look after your hardware till you are ready to take the next step.
  20. buy a V88 ya tightass.

  22. 3 x $10 for your bits...they had them in stock. your address please.
