  2. would anyone like me to get them a drink while the ad's are on?
  3. lol only way to take a skirt off is to rip it off.
  4. staying out on slicks in the wet...shades of Seto in 87...bum puckering stuff.
  5. The race director deemed the race too boring so they scanned the track and found a chip packet that needed to be removed off the racing line. Simonsen is a mobile road block!!!
  6. i see your Reimax and raise you a newly released Nitto pump with billet rear cover for added strength. RB_OIL_PUMP_v2.pdf
  7. ahh Chris...you have scored more points...i start on Coopers then progress to JD. Then when thats run out i rifle through the kitchen looking for anything i can get my hands on. Even Stace's cooking sherry isn't safe.
  8. ahh yes...another Coopers drinker...cheers to you Chris.
  9. as i mentioned in another thread yesterday Triple8's fuel milage will come into play later today. Kenny's experience with methanol sprintcar and drag racing engines has a few tricks carried over that gives them an advantage in regards to economy. Damn you Ken.
  10. Roland was as honest as he knew he had to be...the pictures dont lie. It was a bit painful for him though...lol Suck shiite Lowdnes.
  11. its not in the connectors...im talking about the coil loom itself. You will not be able too see the damage (if any) unless you remove the grey tape. When you have installed the coils you may have moved the loom around separating the possible damage site. With engine movement the damage has moved close enough to short out again. Ive seen this problem before and it normally occurs at the bend in the loom near coil 5. not saying this is 100% what it is but id untape the loom and do an inspection.
  12. my bet is the coil loom...these things get very brittle with heat and this hardens the insulation which causes it to flake and expose the conductor. This shorts the output causing extremely high current which frys the power transistors in the igniter.
  13. x2...bring back Julie Anthony
  14. John Jamborree is the biggest Sport Compact meet in Australia...we have had cars from USA, Peurto Rico, NZ etc come to race including Titan from the states this year. We had over 290 vehicles entered this year and its also a 2 day meet so a bit more time trackside. Godzilla Motorsport in Brisbane may be able to help out with storage and facilities.
  15. plus an opportunity to test at private hires. Maybe aim for Compak Attak in Sydney if Feb. 2011 is your goal.
  16. the young fella would have been pretty chuffed to see himself in the mag too. Awesome car to work on Bakes.
  17. a properly designed breather and catch system that will assist the factory drains. Its all in the oil control thread Nathan.
  18. its not a blowby issue....its a high RPM oil control issue. If it was a blowby issue it would occur at max boost at any rpm. Dave has previously stated on here how good the engine is sealed and has virtually no blow-by. Funnily Dave runs a rear oil "drain" which i have said in the past does not work...this again proves my theory on this modification. Dave if you want to track it without an issue its a simple fix...give me a call to discuss if you wish.
  19. its due to it being printed overseas. Just picked up a copy. Bakes, your car looks awesome mate...well done.
  20. you can buy them direct from Vi-PEC http://www.vi-pec.com/page_files/sensors.htm last one listed down the bottom. dealer in Denmark is Pure Performance... http://www.pure-pf.com/
  21. the winner of the best ECU...Vi-PEC V88
  22. ill bring up a valid point too...Justin your drag racing...why is it that no-one has got within cooee of my performance on the strip unless they have big single using anti-lag or launch control ignition cut to build boost. The RS's make plenty of power (500AWKW at only 25psi) you need to have the set-up right which is why some other cars fail to perform with them. The T04Z cars are where?? almost a second away. The RS's with a dogbox will see you possibly beat Mark Berry's low mount record. Go for it mate.
  23. bugger...missed out on another set of these.
