  2. yes...thats probably the best idea. Paul has already done the 'legwork' on these sensors.
  3. you should have said "its powered by a small plutonium reactor"
  4. awesome work bro...smashed em eh! was it dyo?...if not why were you giving them such a head start...?
  5. lol...nice one. so whats the go with this car....has it gone away and hidden in shame ? s/s
  6. $1000 snap-on cordless rattle gun is the only way ive found getting them undone easily.
  7. they are the new design piston...the rings you have will be fine.
  8. the chipset will be no different...its just a firmware upgrade and new tuning software if you have already have a Vi-PEC. The whisper is the new tuning software is the ducks nuts. I really should STFU...lol
  9. i think from memory the wire at the attessa is purple...check the voltage of that to ground.
  10. sounds like the tps is faulty or not adjusted to read 0.4V at key on. The Attessa looks for this voltage and if too high or low will not allow the 4wd to work.
  11. ccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. The eprom has your tune in it...not the main board...thats why you still have all your data. Sheriff...i can have a look at it for you...ive repaired a few.
  13. He can't "spill the beans" but lets just say the Vi-PEC is evolving. This has been deemed necessary to completely separate the product from another one similar. A lot of the Vi-PEC intellectual property will cease to exist on the similar item. The Vi-PEC brand will be regarded as a world leader in ecu technology and needs its own identity to achieve this. I am of the belief that a lot of features are being held back until the evolution is complete. I already think i may have said too much...enough for now.
  14. get the fault code out of the attessa ecu and let us know.
  15. Yes, yes, no and yes. This ecu has been given the honour of being named the "Best ECU" in the latest "Best of the best" High Performance Imports magazine.
  16. Yes...pump and bracket will be available through JWAuto...They are very busy preparing for Bathurst 1000 this week but should have some brackets ready.
  17. awesome guys...looks like a cool little package that im sure will surprise a few...all the best with the build.
  18. brackets are being anodised this week...they are engineered and CNC'd by the guys who make the oil and water pumps for the Triple 8 V8 Supercar team...suffice to say they are world class in both design and finish. As soon as JWAuto send me a pic of the finished brackets ill post it up. Yes its been a long time coming but a change in supplier and engineering shop fabricating the brackets will have been worth it in the end.
  19. price drop $1100...almost 1/2 cost price !!
  20. i have removed the rear seat, boot trims, A/C and stereo...everything else is still there...its not as 'stripped' as a lot of people think. Add into that the weight of the cage and other associated safety items and its no featherweight. I built the car to comply with the ANDRA Sport Compact street class rules and they were quite strict in keeping the entrants genuine street cars. Anyway i like my carpet, power windows, sound deadening, factory controls, interior trims etc. stripping it fully would make for a pretty awful car to drive on the road. its been a while since ive looked in the boot for stowaways so i might have a squizz and clear them out.
  21. The gearstick hole is for the transfer case....transmission fluid like Castrol Tranzmax Z in there only. Is your rubber boot still in serviceable condition...if its not it will leak fluid.
  22. i get a really good discount at Autobarn at Greenhills...considering my workshop is at Whitebridge this is a lot closer. hook me up Dean
  23. Dan...the search button is your friend. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/RB...sions-f184.html
