  1. Contact Lucas Turbocharging in Moscow on (495) 750-9777...Ask for Sergey he should be able to assist you.
  2. DOT radials 255x50x16's 1.37 60' 1574kg including 100kg me (the cars 1474kg) it only went 126MPH due to a clutch malfunction when trying to shift into 4th, the car rolled from the 1000' mark to the finish line in neutral...would normally run about 146-148 MPH and should go 9.2...im running it again next weekend so we will see its true potential then hopefully. i have no back seat in the car due to the cage...but it has rear trims in carbon. All other factory trims remain, including factory glass, carpet, door trims, hood lining, sun visors, centre console, dash etc. Runs all factory controls...headlights, indicators, wipers, washers, electric windows, electric side mirrors, horn, is road registered, does not use NOS and doesn't make the list...all because of a back seat....crazy !!
  3. do what i do...run an intermediate small tank to catch the 'heavy' oil and run it into the sump, then vent the mist from the smaller tank to another larger oil/air separator tank that 'scrubs' the nasties from it and vent it via a filter. My small tank only ever looks like its had sump oil in it...my larger tank when drained has black watery fuelly shit in it id never want back in my engine bearings.
  4. i have a manual, wiring diagrams and a fairly good knowledge of how the ATTESSA system works and 10 years experience of working on these cars...but im only 1 of hundreds of guys on here who could possibly help you. But your thread wasnt about us helping you it was asking about workshops and or mechanics who dont charge an arm and a leg, then you proceeded to have a crack at one of the best GTR workshops in the country for charging $120 an hour. c'mon Some advice...start a new thread asking for help in sorting your car out. You don't seem the type who likes to part with his money and hey, you might get it diagnosed/fixed for free.
  5. Spending hours faultfinding...or taking it to someone who has massive experience with a certain make of car that knows what fails and what the symptoms are before you even walk in the door. With CRD you are paying for more than just a name...they got their name through their reputation of being at the forefront of GTR development in this country. They were building and modifying these cars long before most of us on here even owned one. Their quality of work is some of the best in the industry. your time and money...take your pick.
  6. really...you should have maybe introduced yourself...were you with Noel and Shane?
  7. yes but it had to be installed prior to feb 2006 and you need documentation to prove it. Car can only be registered as a 2 seater.
  8. think about it this way...what it takes CRD to sort out issues with GTR's would take Joe Average Mechanical at least twice as long. As in anything in life you get what you pay for...pay peanuts, you get monkeys.
  9. yeah we certainly are...the Vi-PEC anti-lag is killer. Walk..you should have came over for a chat instead of being a 'hi-vis' face in the crowd. Mark has set the logger to automatically log from 3000rpm so we have some data there to look at.
  10. Thanks Rob. Did a 1.38 the run before and blew the turbo outlet pipe off changing from 1st to 2nd...still ran 9.8 Mate it went 6.0 @ 114 to 1/2 track. What do you think it is capable of at that boost/power level?
  11. We haven't even looked at suspension settings yet and i agree with your mode of thinking...a 4wd car 60's better when it sits a bit flatter. We picked up almost 2/10ths in the 60 with the low mounts getting the car to sit flat and just bob its ass a bit on launch. The coilovers have only been raised in ride height and still have the settings that we used at Superlap when we had them fitted to the circuit car. The stripe is an advert. for Bodyform who did a bit of work on the car, Pete's a top guy and im happy to support his business and products. Although its a bit ricey its no worse than this one.. http://www.cnjmotorsport.com.au/images/gtr1.JPG It also makes the car easily identifiable at the track as it stands out from all the other silver 32's I think i may even wash it before Jambo...check out the thick coat of dust on it, especially the bonnet and roof.
  12. nice pic that Dave took with the front wheels off the deck on launch.
  13. you couldn't be anymore on track.
  14. OK got the info i need, they are as follows... 30501-A3800 12mm 30501-N1601 14mm 30501-U0200 16mm 30501-S0200 18mm 30501-B6000 20mm 30501-S0160 22mm 30501-K0404 24mm 30501-K0510 26mm 30501-N1600 28mm 30501-N8400 30mm
  15. they wont allow my 9.5 @ 126 because i have the rear seat and trims removed...really weigh's the car down with that stuff removed eh?
  16. G'day Justin, good to see you took the comment the right way. Hows your piston pins on strip-down? Have you bent any? This is why im reluctant to join the community of pride.
  17. on the gravel out the back of the pits it did. should have not tried 4th...if id left it in 3rd it may have gone quicker. Maybe the car has forgotten it has more than 3 gears...lol
  18. JW...top fella...did he tell you that i snore harder than i drive...lol. Aparently i was still dozing hard this morning when he and k went to work. Brad, ill see how this box goes. A Liberty is out of the question...an auto ?...maybe. I just want to race it for a while and enjoy it.
  19. My last two racecar wiring jobs were full Deutsch jobs...i don't think ill ever wire a racecar again with anything else. It makes for a top notch job.
  20. Mark was constantly smashing the box when clutchless shifting...plenty of $$ overhauling it all the time replacing dog rings etc. So to keep the box in the car he has instructed me to clutch it...so i do...he's the crew chief and has plenty more experience with this stuff than i. He said maybe try 3rd>4th without the clutch but ill need to be more brutal with the stick not clutching it. Hose clamps were the ones that came in the HKS kit...turfed them today and replaced them with the same ones Mark uses.
  21. thanks Dunc's, third time lucky with the new set-up. We found a small problem that took 5 mins to repair, it instantly rectified the cars inability to launch properly. Fixed it and bingo the car runs a number. A little way to go yet but we are getting on top of it.
  22. Cheers ezy, that track was a street meet...next weekend is Jamboree which will be a full prep so id say the 60 may fall even further.
  23. lol...i was planning to drop the car where i was staying at a friends place at Birkdale and drive the car to Wakerley this morning in the same spec it was ran last night. Mark was kind enough to open the shop at 11pm last night so i could drop it off at Godzilla. The car is actually nicer on the road with all the new mods except the whine from the dogbox...but once your in 4th you dont hear it as its 1:1. Thanks for your post...nice. EDIT: ill be kind enough to answer your question...f**ken oath its worth it!
