  1. if you remember correctly Charlie it was actually me laughing at the official saying "haha no shit"...was pretty funny how serious the little man with the blue shirt and headphones on was. It was a good night...pity the next few days were not very kind to me.
  2. not secret at all $1880.
  3. I got a good result with them but i feel they 'softened' the car up a little bit.
  4. If you had lost an engine at 900klm you would feel the same way as Marko. The engine in question was a low revving item that was never put under stress...N1 went bang. GTRNUR...correct...the mains are all shiny from eating rod bearing material.
  5. let me guess...you run low comp or e85?
  6. not all details are provided please confirm that 9 and 8 second cars are not permitted at this event.
  7. no but i have a brand new one...you have PM. picture for those wanting one (note the looms are now soldered to the adaptor board so is straight plug-in)
  8. bcpr7es marko...made better spark and more power with these puppies than any platinum plug you care to name. I run coppers in the race car too...but not 7's.
  9. sold the car...no longer needed. Also...no map sensor included...ill edit original post. $2300 if buyer wants me to source map sensor.

  13. multiple pm's replied to look guys its a bride brix ii...plain black (not gradation which in my opinion looks cheap) second small seat pictured here from top left http://www.e-autosports.com/product_images...yer/brix_ii.jpg
  14. those prices obviously include freight i presume?
  15. its black...as stated in the title. rail is sold pending payment...seat is now $700
  16. only things different between an RB30E and an RB30ET are the pistons, oil pump and camshaft...everything else in the long engine is the same.
  17. I wasn't aware of any bounty? Who's paying? I might even do the job myself.
  18. yeah but this is a street engine...you cannot compare a street 26/30 to a race 26.
  19. throw one half of a main thrust bearing on the ring gear just before the top engine dowel. Stops it from turning. this is how i do it.
  20. yeah have known about the crack for quite some time...has been pretty good up till now. Most 05U blocks will open up when subjected to this power level for a long period. All the bogged launches twisting and stressing the block would have done it no favours. I grouted it this afternoon...no more weeping coolant. Was going to machine up another block but didn't want to crack a good one. Engine back in by the end of the week.
  21. hopefully they will give us a better track than last time
  22. oh no we dont give in that easily...unfinished business needs to be attended to. the car has never been set-up properly for drag racing until now...i couldn't live with the massive 'what if' by not running it again.
  23. sorry guys only just got internet access... the small crack in the block that was repaired last time engine was freshened has opened up weeping coolant out. In the interests of my own and others safety i decided not to run the car. Looking back i probably should have grouted the block as the crack is below the bottom of the welsh plugs and grouting would have stopped it. Its very strange as when the car was rolled back on Friday no coolant was leaking out of it. A little later i jacked the front of the car up in preparation for welding a lambda sensor bung at the base of the dump pipe and coolant started to drip from the rear of the engine. We stripped the engine on Friday night and tried to repair it but on Saturday morning started leaking again. Engine is now out and ill decide tomorrow if ill just grout it or replace the block with a fresh one. Very disapointing for all involved with the car.
