  1. Would be better if you had a chart with your AFR's (Air to fuel mixture) on it, Then would have a better idea of what shape the tune is in.
  2. haha nice one mid life crisis
  3. In order to put an o ring in the pick up it will need an o-ring recess in the flange of the pick up, if it has one of these then it's MEANT to have an o ring on there.... Good luck mate.
  4. should fit....it's different to accomodate for the two AFM's. But should still fit.
  5. Mate all you have to do is press a button and change the scale to look a bit more agressive, look at the RPM and power to compare. yes Ping is Power according to some.
  6. My green stuff only make noise when they heat up and thats when they bite and your head hits the dash. There isn't that much brake dust. They are only wheels man, just clean it off.
  7. If you can afford them get greenstuff, I used to hit the hills very often so used to push them to their limits...not just suburban driving.
  8. what's funny is how many people would actually believe him and fork out cash only for him to fit it and wind some timing into it and get a better result...He's happy he's got his cash and the customer is happy but none the wiser of his easy earnings.
  9. Well that's why we wanna see the afr's..to see if it is...Seen at least 10-15rwkw more out of a simular setup...so that's why we wanna look.
  10. dont worry about the torque...just get the power curve and AFR's on the same chart to compare. If it's way too rich in the top end it will cause it to nose dive. And like mentioned the timing could be pulled right out in the high rpm to allow a safer tune.
  11. R31nismoid already explained.. it's more of a mid mount. Face it, if you go High mount, you will have to make do without the crossover pipe and get something custom made up...Not too much drama. Or get a new Plenum design.
  12. Must have AFR's up there to have half a chance of telling if your tune is fine or not.
  13. The dyno is fine, look at the power nose dive. I'd like to see a chart of the AFR's. Can also be ignition timing. Nose dives way too early.
  14. great stuff! prepsol like mentioned and will come up trumps.
  15. They are drift teks... youll probably sell em for 700-750 if your lucky.
  16. your a funny man dan! lol
  17. it's like brand new dan. he keeps it in a f*kn beany thing ffs. lol
  18. Is it a fresh motor? He means crank it with the starter motor, Taking the CAS off means it wont start up. Like he said, Take the feed line off the turbo and crank the motor over and it should spit out oil if it has oil pressure. Make sure your guage is properly hooked up. If it's a fresh motor maybe the oil pump wasn't prepared with petrolium jelly shit. it needs this to create suction to be able to initially pull oil into it to start pumping something. If all else fails, take your pressure sender out and screw a small fitting into it and using a compressor with an oil can connected, slowly push oil down the pressure sender hole so it feeds back to the oil pump and gives it something to suck with. Either that or like mentioned before, the pick up could be sucking air, either from your modifications or by not replacing a worn o-ring. OR the pressure relief plunger/spring in the bottom of the oil pump is stuck open and is bypassing all oil pressure back into the sump. Start from the beginning and begin the process of elimination.
  19. why did you remove all this stuff mate? stock motor? Interested in the gate. Any chance of knowing what the lowest boost you could run with the gate was?
  20. haha craig! I hate XF wagons.
  21. craig, mine is black, then green, then yellow. They contrast each other very well.
  22. too much nerd talk. ni ni ni ni
  23. yea yellow on the border would be shit, the outside needs to be predominant.
  24. EDIT: no problem Ruby !
