  1. search before you ask simple questions mate otherwise youll get flamed....With a blanking plate you can leave all the hoses on the bov including plum back pipe.

The AFC neo, safc and any piggyback without ignition timing adjustment is purely a bandaid for the rich n that rb25's suffer from...and for obvious reasons its best to upgrade to pfc for the best results but if your budget doesn't stretch then yea it will help to a certain degree...pardon the pun.

  4. Alot of cars especially when a conversion has been done never get them connected..It's the Exhaust temp sensor. Im not entirely sure of its effect of not being connected but they run fine so thats no problem. The ecu gathers all sorts of values from each sensor and calculates its map correction from what it reads to create an ''optimum'' mixture. But like i said ive never really noticed a difference between one being and not being connected. Haven't looked that hard into it however.

  6. The more power the car has the more dramatic the power difference is going to be when you vary to ramp rate. Ovrtym33's R33 made 325roundaboutrwkw on moderatly high ramp rate which was around 270 i think. Due to the fact we had to dial out alot of wheel spin on the dyno. On a more modest / realistic ramp rate the car would probably make around 340-350rwkw....however the same ramp rate differences on a 200rwkw R33 would be around 10rwkw difference. not too much but enought to make a customer drive out happier lol.

  8. oh and i forgot to mention we've had plenty of 33's on the dyno at Aussies and alot of them make good power (190-200rwkw) with basic mods yet others make average power (160-180rwkw) with simular mods...SO many variables. Believe it or not other cars have had a much harsher life than others.
  9. Ive been in and driven IZZMO 33's car and it feels very much like 200+rwkw with minimal mods aswell..very impressive. My R31 with series 1 rb25det and my r33 with series 2 rb25det both made 203rwkw and 205rwkw with 10psi, cooler and exhaust on a few different dyno's give or take 3-5kw not necessary mate. Every car is different. God dam it pete, you beat me to it! hehehe People dont realise that its up to the dyno operator to choose the specific ramp rate that the dyno produces...this alters your power output...usually a standard ramp rate for these things is around 150. So many people are quick to assume every car is the same and will make simular power with simular mods. Every car is different. So many variables come into play when it comes to output on a dyno...remember people its just a number.

  17. Turns out my turbo may not be f**ked after all, had a mad mad leak on one side of the manifold because it warped. Turbo feels brand new still and im still gonna get it sussed out by mtq just for curiosity's sake. Im not putting it back on tho...time for an upgrade

  19. 25 rear housing with a compressor that size isnt' really what im after...they rear tends to work too hard and they get too hot....If your interested in selling your 30/40 i would get an internal gate with a .63 rear fitted. Im very interested mate.

  25. Not having much luck. Coil pack went on me tonight, which adrian very kindly lent me last minute...much appreciated. THEN My turbo f**ked out...so im up for another huffer now. meh...what do ya do.
