  1. Just be careful mate a GT3582r with an Internally gated .63 rear will need either a much larger internal gate or youll run minimum 25psi....It doesn't flow enough out gate to regulate boost too well. We have one on my mates Rb20 and luckily its built to run 25psi...
  2. yep thats what i said lol
  3. a lathe is a spinning chuck you put material into and you turn/machine the certain piece into a cylindrical symmetric shape....no writing. Could od it with a mill and a tiny slot drill.
  4. dan might be a wise decision to get my laptop onto your power fc and save your tune mate, just incase...even tho it'll stay on there..just incase something happens.
  5. PM him mate
  6. Dan, if your not competent enough, send it to michael or i can return it to stock at my place if need be. Up to you mate. Will look after you either way.
  7. Ive done this before with my 31...it will go through and be registered. THe internet goes through straight away. i was in suprised when you told me today dan, sucks arse big time...dont worry we'll sort it out for ya...
  8. Genuine Nismo R33 Digital Display Comes with Full Loom with Epson EJ-1 ECU Cluster has 72,000km on it. No Scratches, AV output on the rear. It is missing the Remote but i believe a replacement is avaliable and display on screen can still be changed without it. In working condition and a fantastic upgrade to the standard cluster and lets face it, Chicks will dig it. Impulse buy and need the money back. $1200 In SA, inspection welcome, Post or pick up PM or sms 0405322061
  9. do they even work in a gts-t?
  10. Sorry to hear ted.
  11. You were bang on the money pete. If for some reason you do need to tune with a higher ramp rate, eg. Wheel spin etc.. then a bit more care has to be taken with the tune and must be alot more concervative. So many other factors come into play.
  12. yea sorry i didn't answer your question... rr:020 is a higher ramp rate therefore giving less load on the car...will show a slight increase in power. At the end of the day its just a figure. The dyno is purely a tuning tool. Unless your simulating near bang on road conditions then AFR's and power will not be accurate.
  13. yep did this every day lol ezy outs and drills are made from hardened steel. Dont try drill it out as youll just blunt your next drill. Best thing to do is drill it out, retap if possible or add helicoil.
  14. The higher the ramp rate the less load the rollers place on the car. Then there's start speed, release time, end speed. Basically there is a whole lot of different combinations you can chop and change to suit the car and what sorta load you want to place on it. If a car is placed under light load but does a full power run, The true AFR reading will be false to a certain point as with power output. hope that made sense lol.
  15. SFA, its gonna be good! haven't had time to sit down and do nothing for ages.
  16. as cubes said, cheap map sensor will sort that out, i bought the proper adapter. definetly pete, 150 is our default ramp rate. depending on the style of power delivery but yea mainly 150. We sometimes lower it for just 1 run to really load it up to simulate going up a hill just to be safe. Thanks mate, I was very impressed with your car, a very nice set up you have. Very jealous. Only more motivation to buy more shit for mine lol. Thanks for coming down! Good talking to ya!
  17. damo, get a hand controller, its definetly worth it, alot of people have had their car tuned then gone to drive it on the road only to realise they have a higher than safe knock level because the tuner didn't take into account the dyno is only a tuning tool and not the same as driving on the road. Plus you can keep an eye on boost levels aswell and chicks dig it.
  18. NC lathe is a computer operated lathe which makes shit according to specific co-ordinates, i dealt with CNC lathes, mills and wire cutters and wrote all the programming during my apprentiship...can basically make anything outta metal. where about you work mate?
  19. i dnt think youd try to comply that lol
  20. Yea mate, trans mounts a piece of piss. Ill do it for nothing. When your free ill pop round or whatever and we'll sus where the power steering leak is coming from. PM me mate about when youd like to do it.
  21. R31 RB20det conversion soon! hehe. ill upload some photo's adrian
  22. good job tangles, good to see ya didn't hurt yourself...probably gave ya even more satisfaction doing it yourself.
  23. 60-70bux off hand, bit more for AWD as it takes longer to set up, uses more electricity etc...
  24. i feel for you mate, it would suck big time. Cant imagine what id do without my licence. perhaps moving into the city and getting a lift with a work colleague could be an option if worse comes to worse. seems dramatic i know but much more practical.
