i agree cubes, the 20 box i had in my 31 felt really really good, my 25 box feels very simular but like you said, its just a bit heavy tho....Miles ahead of any new xr6t or SS box however.

spotted a black 33 GTR on west lakes boulivard about 3:30

Alot of people dont realise this. Driving home today i noticed the RB30 in my daily driver has done a bottom end bearing....sucks considering its a really tight motor, Brand new head, no lifter noise what so ever. So thats a job for the weekend.

As i was discussing with craig, If you've got work to do on your car and dont really have time to transport your car to a mechanic, or want it done over a weekend, or dont know what the fuuk your doing, let me know the quote and ill beat it by a considerable amount and help you out. Cubes, i agree with the gt3540 being a '3rd gear' turbo, especially the typhoon spec 1.06 rear and also the .82 rear. Very impressive once on boost tho. I have done a little reasearch on a gcg gt3040 aswell, they are much the same to some extent.

Adrian, I have pondered and pondered on going gt3540 for ages just chasing the big numbers, I was even going to put my turbo up for sale last night....But reality is, I make close to 270rwkw with my gt2871r with 15psi. More responsive than most turbos and any more than 250rwkw is ridiculous for a 2wd skyline. The turbo you will need to make 300rwkw is going to disappoint you with low down reponse after sampling a smaller turbo. Sure, youll make big number but numbers are numbers. Its the way the car drives that really matters. Ive had a chance to drive both a GTR with 300rwkw and a GTS-T with 300rwkw and there is no comparison, all depends what you want out of the car obviously. If your making a hills/steetable car then sacrifice 30-40rwkw and keep it a responsive, fun car. EDIT: GT2871R 56t for sale $1200 6000km old!

If it wasn't safe it would have popped by now being an unopened rb25, considering the workout that car gets from simon, Im sure simon wouldn't have done this if he didn't think it was safe. Jeff from The Speed Lab tuned it.

adrian, When you change your brakes, ill buy your brakes off you for the 31. keep that in mind!!!

You have to squeeze the caliper pistons back into the caliper either using a proper tool, a G clamp or two screw drivers.... MIN, a baffle plate between the cat flanges will do the trick.

Scott, We think the dyno needs recalibrating, Mine pulled 240rwkw but feeels like it gained 30!!! hahaha...so yea should of had about 270-280.....jeff's gonna wack it on turbo tunes' dyno tomorrow to make sure!

payed 2k....auto is really tight! feels GOOD!

Bought another Skyline Today! An Auto RED S3 Silhouette R31 New head on the rb30, goes very well, stock LSD still works very well, Interior is immaculate, paint is a little worse for wear tho..but i dont care. Will make a great tow car/daily.

nice mate, any particular turbo you have in mind? Also, where are you getting your alloy radiator? Im thinkin the same thing.

haha as i edited it above its the 56T i got specs somewhere on the rear, its simular to a stage 3 Highflowed rb25det turbo rear housing. I'm sure it'll run out of legs sometime soon, doesn't seem to be at the moment.

Dale, getting my car tuned on thursday, Ill show you what my curve is like with the GT2871R with the 25. Mines the 56T however.
