  1. benny_blanco, doesn't hurt but what a pain in the arse, remove fuelpump fuse, cas plug or whatever and that's just as good. unless you want to pull kickpanel on and off and undo a 10mmbolt holding the loom in the computer and risk damaging the loom rippin it in and out..hehe...
  2. im pretty sure a couple of weeks ago there was a bright RED 34 gt-t 2 door stolen!
  3. bluegts, the scary thing is, they are people just like you and me...just with different priorities and intentions....every dog has their day.
  4. the cops will do f*k all. These people have done nothing wrong technically.
  5. Even in the situation that you are to meet them at a certain place, and they still seem a little dodgy, then just take a mate with ya when you go to meet up. Another persons judge of character can come in handy. Also another pair of fists in the even of punch on is also beneficial.
  6. when i put my R31 on Ebay a guy had recognised it because he did some paving at my neighbours house and asked me if i'd swap it for his cordia turbo and a couple of g's. I declided obviously but he got the shits up and i caught him out the front trying to break into it, late on the following friday night. I dont think he and his mate will be doing that ever again.
  7. yea its normal, between friends....if your genuine about an item, surely your keen enough to ring the person, why not ring them, gives both of you a perspective of each other instead of uncertainty, confusion, mixed messages etc. geezz its not hard.
  8. yes, also crank angle sensor plug on most cars is hidden by fmic piping, unplug and she'll never kick over.
  9. not to mention how keen he seemed pestering and pestering and then when you said "goodluck with finding a car" he didn't put up a fight or anything, not even a compromise at all. very suss.... there needs to be more awareness of this problem. dont trust no kent.
  10. past 300 id be holding my breath every pump of the throttle, alot of people say its all in the tune.
  11. ah great news guys, cheers for your input, i got the turbo real cheap, its only done a 1000km so its still fresh..the pictures are bad i know but that actual rear wheel is as large as you can fit in that housing by the looks of how much its machined out... my mate removed it off his rb20 due to the rings on number one going, he's currently forgie rebuilding it and wackin on a gt3540 off xr6t, not sure the rear they run i think .82 or something....but yea thats a different sorry. The turbo on the 20 was a little laggy (rb20 nature anyway) came on strong at about 3700. im about a week or so away from eventually fitting the gear so will have results soon for you guys. anyone know if this core needs different fittings for oil, coolant etc..or will the standard rb25 lines suit? or is it just a matter of buying lines to suit gt2871r cores? cheers for the info guys, really helpful, keep ya posted with results
  12. i think the coilpack will only pulse when the crank angle sensor is turning.. i have a s2 ecu you can borrow.
  13. anyone else have any idea what itd be like?
  14. they actually have solid lifters and naturally have fairly loud heads. My mates GTR had simular noise, sounded like it was in the top of the head etc etc etc, turned out to be a bottom end bearing spun. worst case scenario and for your sake i hope its not.
  15. ah ok, it made 240rwkw on my mates rb20 with 17psi
  16. bluegts what area are you in? ive got my s2 ecu sitting here...i got pfc so you can try it if you want...i want to keep it tho hehe
  17. hey guys, this is probably the billionth post like this...but i got this turbo, its only done a 1000km. I plan on bolting it to my rb25det in the meantime before the whole gt35r thing.... i need someone to tell me whats the deal with this turbo, good or bad, responsive or not... all the info i have is its an rb25 rear housing with a machined wheel, a/r60 front cover t04??? part number on the core is 446179-5032 it says garrett. here's a few pics. thanks guys, appreciated.. also, if you guys did need wheel sizes etc...whats the deal? just get some verniers onto em?
  18. spotted a white 33 today at the henley beach rd happy wash today around 3:30, had a kit, and nice black centre, chrome lip rims.... then spotted a white 32 GTR with gold rims turning from Grange rd to Tapley's hill...looked nice as.
  19. would higly recommend andrew for any tig/stainless work you need doing, great workmanship.
  20. i might pull apart the steering mechanism and make up billet pins at work lol. always be cautious of cars following you home or sus cars goin down your street...
  21. haha, yea i seen him too, gave him a toot!
  22. alarms, steering locks, turbo timer etc....if they want your car they'll take it. alarms and immobilizers are easy to bypass standard steering locks snap with a sharp jerk of steering wheel. it all comes down to luck at the end of the day.
  23. saw rush33 drive past the bartley hotel last night.
  24. for 1600odd cc's that'd have huge torque for what about 200odd kilo..... my old man has a Vulcan VN1500, a Harley lookalike basically, thats a 1500cc and a fairly quick bike for 300plus kilo!
  25. every morning this week about 6am a white r34 GT-t boosts past my new work in edinburgh park...anyone? very nice.
