  2. bwhahaha the japs live it up. so curious!
  3. im usually all about power then show. but if the state that its in bothers you everytime you look at it then id fix the paint n shit first...then youll feel better about throwing a dick load of money at a nice car rather than spendning a dick load of money on a car that still needs cosmetic attention. get it lookin shmick first then you can 'sort of' justify spending money on it to make it faster.
  4. not trade, coulda got trade if i worn my MTA overalls but cbf. price didnt bother me...had to be done..i was just glad i didnt have to buy the gasket kit...

  13. cheers guys
  14. not too sure but the thing is...people have done this but the AFM isn't designed to be placed under pressure, its just plastic, and excess heat to this plastic can cause it to become brital. The afm relies on an accurate reading of resistance measured by a very thin wire. Any excess heat to this could cause improper readings, hence different air/fuel ratio....probably wouldnt be f**k all but there's no point just for a flutter and bad economy.
  15. yea thanks champ, its actually manifold to turbo gasket. figured i had to go to nissan.
  16. my opinion, try buy one as standard as possible. mods are a sign of hammer time. series 2 ftw.
  17. you could try not speeding. ive heard that helps.
  18. The afm is expecting air (from plum back bov) to be returned to the air flow, so when you stop that air being plummed back into the air flow the air flow metre doesnt know this and just assumes everything is normal, hence thinking there is more air there than there really is, therefore keeping the same amount of fuel for less air, causing it to run rich. hope that made sence
  19. lol dude, just take the bolt out and put a dip stick in
  20. hey guys, going through the hills last night, the gasket between the dumppipe and turbo blew out. where bouts can i get these and are they in stock regularly? rb25det btw. chees RYan
  21. thanks stick.....these have a +30 offset i think
  22. are you sure they wont fit? they may be the same size, splines, everything its just that the gears inside need to line up in order for the shafts to slide into the splines. you have to get someone to spin one side while you push the other axel in....that is that this is the problem. pm if you want more info.
