  1. turbo wheel moves forward ever so slightly under boost letting that extra pressure escape past your seals into the exh housing. what sort of turbo again? because the turbo should be able to put up with a little more pressure im sure of it. they aren't border line.
  2. coincidence. check more stuff
  3. who said motorsport was cheap? its at your own risk, if you dont like that risk, dont do it. simple!
  4. hey you can pick up Holden Jackaroo's late 95-96 for around 9k. Both the Petrol 3.2lt and diesel 3.0lt intercooled turbo are great for towing, We have the v6 version, tows great. just a little heavy on fuel, but it is also 4wd and plenty of space for other shit. Easiest 4wd to drive also, for the size!
  5. VE exec looks wierd..all others look fantastic!
  6. while you got the sump off clean all the sludge out of it. Years and years of old oil turns into a gluggy goo...can block pick up and cause all sorts of problems you dont want to deal with. while sump is off pull pressure relief valve (one bolt) out of bottom of oil pump and clean. if that gets stuck, no oil pressure.
  7. hook a brotha up with a PM
  8. realistically it'll probably cut your turbo life by about 10 minutes.
  9. 9.0:1 with all Rb25det's
  10. yea cool, im gettin GCG to make me up a gt3540, microtech, but i think ill do it the safe way and get injectors. nitrous is cheating.
  11. i had the same problem with an rb30, the gasket behind the inlet manifold was leaking.
  12. you never kno what comes outta japan, the motor coulda had forgies in it. hehe but that's some serious theory killers what ever happened to all those theories of uneven spray on injectors if you push the pressure too high on standard injectors what sorta hairdryer was strapped to the side? thats some major punishment for a std rb25! what else was done?
  13. seen a maroon series 1 R33 this morning parked on The Golden Way with a smashed side window, looked to be stolen. Seen a White series 1 with a 400r kit i think on kings rd near parafield with queensland plates. seen another white R33 for sale with NSW plates on it 100m up the road with for sale sign on it. had big kit.

  16. the actual bearing itself is around $20 I think but to get it fitted i think would be around 60-70 bucks.

  18. thats mental... group buy group buy
  19. saw a clean as silver stagea on commercial Rd in pt adelaide on saturday arvo with front mount, nearly made a mess in my pants....hehe also last night driving along brighton rd say a black 32 with what looked simular to a 400r equivalent bodykit, full of dickheads yellin abuse. hehe think they were paro.
  20. yea manual tailshaft with rb20 box will def fit as serty-1 said. You need to change front yoke and get it shortened slightly for rb25box.
  21. hey guys, Where and when can i pick up one of those tomei Hicas lock modules? do they do as they are intended? cheers.
  22. i wouldnt push any more than 200rwkw from an rb25det through an rb20det box, i had one behind my 205rwkw rb25det in an R31, i was surprised it handled it quite well. all depends how you drive i suppose. If your going to bang gears with an on off clutch it wont last 5 minutes with 370hp which is around 270kw. no way. definetly go for the rb25det box. it wont be long before changing the box anyways....
  23. was that white 33 on sir donald bradman drive near autobahn intersection and were you driving a maroon 33? if so that was meeeee
  24. you could go to clark rubber and see if they got rubber gromits to fit the holes to stop water....just a thought, i think thats' what ill be doing
