  1. hahahaha GOLD
  2. ahh ok...yea thats' always a priority... just make sure the clutch packs aren't completely f**ked. a common thing with gtr's. you best driving it around town in 2wd rather than 4wd just so they dont wear out. they're expensive i believe.
  3. yea what trick said
  4. ahh hehe cheers jazza, sinista n mrRB i wouldnt thrash em either.. let you boys kno
  5. thanks for that, thats' all i needed...
  6. does that come with the transfer case with brand new clutch packs in it?
  7. ah i see your justification.
  8. i got defected for no water in the window washers. It was totally understandable however!!! car wasn't driveable without that...could have been dangerous!!!
  9. yea thanks guys, ill let you know early this week if i need them, appreciate the help ay...
  10. way to hijack.... MY CAR ISNT DOING THE RETARD TIMING- RICHEN UP SAFETY SHIT!!!! do you NEED me to repeat that..i know what that is and its not that. I will repeat what i am DISCUSSING! not complaining about! I PULLS HARDER FROM 2000 RPM to 6800RPM when i feather throttle to 0VAC to 1-2psi and squeeze throttle. RATHER THAN having it on 15VAC and STAB the throttle!!!! pull so much harder its noticable. all the way to redline WITHOUT any flat spots.
  11. ah hehehe...yea i had the te-37s on the front, still waiting for the other two...yea i dont know what anyone looks like. i think you need another set!!!! 850 and their yours!!!! hehe...!! you know they'd look mad with black centre and chrome outta.!!
  12. all depends what sort of suspension you have, if they are adjustable platform coilovers then you can wind them up but still have the risk of them not going through becauase coilovers are illegal, however when my 33 came over from japland my coilovers went through ok. most of them time, if your guages are below the dash line then theyll be ok, keep tread on your rears, not too low, not too loud, dont be stupid on the road and they'll be ok about it
  13. yea thats what im still figuring out....i had this problem with my last rb25det.... im just putting it down to when i stab the throttle straight up its pumpin the juce in richening it up more than it has to and boggin it down a tiny bit. where as if i let it kinda free rev with 0 VAC its cleared all the 'dead' fuel and its ready to GO....because i feel a NOTICABLE difference.
  14. i dun wanna start one of THOSE threads but It's all in the tune and how you choose to abuse that power. a 300rwkw standard bottom end rb25det in a drift car wont last that long. where as if your just in it for the thrill of things as a daily, easing on the power the motor could last for years. reving a standard rb25det anything past 7500 spells trouble. It's not worth smashing your motor and letting the motor distroy the things around it. My mate did his bottom end in an rb30 and it distroyed his head and his turbo.
  15. hey guys, i have ordered my new rims but only got two, but in the mean time i need to sell mine. which i may do this week. they got some interest... if anyone has any 2 rims for a 33 out there until my other two arrive in about 2 weeks or so ill give you a six pack or something.... cheers. They will come back in exactly the same condition. Ryan
  16. turbo seals can blow smoke anytime, can do it on idle, can do it under power, can do it when you back off....all depends how bad it is. like i said previously, the front wheel is being pulled forwards which moves the rear wheel forwards too...excessive shaft play can change seal tolerances, plus oil pressure under changed seal tolerances can = oil leakage = smoke under load... seen it happen.
  17. thanks mad082 ive had 2 rb25dets and the first had that R and R problem. This one doesn't NO FLAT SPOT, just pulls much much harder when i let it get 0 VAC before flattening rather than having it flat straight up... pull much harder through rev range...
  18. a gtr just looks sooo much tougher....well worth the conversion imo. its not against any religion to put a 25 in a GTR. its just like putting GTR guards on a gts-t. do it champ. do it.
  19. i know where you live! hehe.... thats not meant to scare you.. i just go fishing down the end of your street. i drool at the sight of the gtr every time i drive past. its exactly what i was going to buy until the one i was about to buy did a bottom end bearing... thats not meant to scare you either.
  20. hmmm. thats expensive...have u considered going to someone like ppgearboxes and asking them what strong rebuild with yours would cost? thats alot of money...
  21. yea agreed, thats what i will probably do
  22. you want the white 17's i got for sale, 900 bucks how can you go wrong..... hehe.. i love VOLK TE37's BRONZE ones...
  23. why is it when i squeeze the throttle to build boost (only a little) then flatten it it seems to go so much better than when i flatten it straight away...??? is it because it may be pumpin mega fuel too quickly and boggin it down than when i let it breath a bit before gunnin it? it tends to pull so much harder when i let it build pressure first especially in the mid to top end rev range. also.... sometimes the boost can climb all the way to 1 bar....i am using a bleeder valve and am full away of spiking etc..this aint spiking..this goes straight to 14 pounds which is straight past the 10 pounds its set at. This is at random intervals in random gears....its doesnt flat spot either...like most rb25's do. it actually goes quite well.
  24. The quest for more power never stops....they should make patches to calm the cravings.
