  2. yeah the mt buller sprint is a mad event, so many such nice cars compete in it! shame about the 4g entry fee by the time insurance etc is paid for tho! really hoping i get some interest in doing a weekend up there because so many people dont realise how much fun it is driving up the mountain! cheers -brett-
  3. was just gunna see how many people are interested, find out when everyone has a free weekend and take it from there. mabie some time late november early december!
  4. he was a tad slow huh< didnt seem to care that he had opened up a big gap between him n the car in front for sunday drivers to pull out into! overtake manouver was pretty classy..... lol till that corner came up! brett

  6. noone at all?? shame
  7. posted a while back about the idea of weather anyone would be interested in doing a weekend up in mansfield and do a few runs up Mt Buller after the ski season finishes. My parents live up there so i could organise a motel with undercover parking etc. takes about 2 hours to get up there, i know its a long way but well well worth the drive as going up buller is unreal fun and once at the top there are massive empty carparks ect that would make a mad place for photos. the drive from bottom to top takes around 15-20 mins and is windey all the way and climbs up to 1902m above sea level. just toying with the idea at the moment as to weather anyone would be interested, know a couple of sau guys with gtrs that are keen and will have a chat to a few at the sorrento cruise! let us know if any of you guys are interested! cheers all -Brett-
  8. sweetsweet! ill run the mt buller idea past a few people and if we can get a few numbers ill try to organise sumthin! will do if we are ever gunna head out for a drive, same with you im allways keen to head down the beach for a spin wen the weather starts warming up! cheers man brett
  9. wouldnt miss it for the world! will be there with bells on! brett
  10. just to throw a few ideas up, dandenong tourist rd is allways a good drive, its no GOR but still good fun. OR beach rd from st kilda down to like arthurs seat or sumthing, only prob is traffic lights breaks every1 up even though its a long way from melbourne, has anyone else done the hill climb up Mt Buller outside the ski season times? my parents live up there so i have done it heaps of times and it is a bl**dy fantastic drive. would be great to get a few lines and do a weekend up there but probably too fay for everyone to drive! sooks lol! few ideas for pple to think bout! cheeeerz brett
  11. hey man, fair few photos of your car at the start of this thread. hopefully someone got a couple of it on the road! should post up some pics of your interior too, i reakon it looked nuts! glad to hear everyone had as good of a day as we did! brett
  12. orange car is naths, my god is it a nice lookin bit of gear! champ of a bloke too, was great to get round and put some faces to names. the first thing my mrs said was how friendly everyone was (after we all woke up lol). fantastic day yesterday, dont think anyone could have not had an absolute blast! driving along great ocean rd and all you can see is little round tail lights as far as the eye can see, it was like being in heaven! thanks again cheeze, really well organised cruise! brett!
  13. and then you have me.. pointing, laughing, calling you names, waving little finger at you while you are cruising for chicks.. who by the way, only come up to the car too brush their hair in their reflection on your new massive chrome rims. hahahahaha thats gold! love it
  14. little mr weather man says: cloud developing during the day with late showers. hope to god it doesnt rain huh! as long as i get at least a few hours with sunroof open ill be a happy camper! really lookin forward to it, not lookin so forward to the 6am start to get to stud park but ahh well! i will most likely be bringing a +1 too (32gtr). not sure where he is gunna meet us yet! cant wait! brett
  15. i could be keen too, its down towards phillip island. take south gippy freeway then phillip island turn off. tooradin airfield is on the right. wont be able to miss it brett

  19. here here to that! im bout to wee myself! haha dont think there will be much sleepin goin on night before!
  20. im gettin pretty pumped for this! hope to god its a mad day like we have been getting! ashneel n dilmah looks like im meetin you guys bright and early, noone from narre area wants to cruise over wit me! chEErz! brett
  21. i entered my car in 05, couple of mates did in 06 but i decided not to worry. was good fun but ques were pretty long, (also wondered y half the cars that i beat got into top 50 and i didnt!). motorkana on friday night i think was the best part of the whole weekend. i would highly reccomend doing the same thing on sat night or even during the day on saturday. spear the spud is also a great event. i know a lot of people found the go-2 whoh to drag on for too long. Also i think the paddok should be opened up to show and shine only competitors at a fraction of the $220 entry cost, would make for a lot more to look at for the people doing the rounds of the cars on show! overall i think its a good event that runs well year after year! thanks for the chance to voice some opinion! brett
  22. Anyone interested in meeting at speed parts on princess highway in narre at about 8am and heading through tunnel and straight over to avalon meet point? pm me if so! Im wanting to head straight over instead of going to cambellfield sozzy ashneel n dilmah, thanks 4 the invite tho! cheerzzzzz brett
  23. hahaha yeep im sure we aint the only ones to do that!
  24. the reason you see so many 33's round is because they are a really nice car that go very well for the money paid for em! 180s and 32s are great fun cars to drive but are both getting to be an old car, therefor and harder to find neat examples! have u thought bout other options like a series 4 or 5 mazda rx7? brett
  25. coil overs to drop hight i lil bit, some nice deep dish rears and shallow dish front rims and tint will make it look nice and tuff. Performance= EBC and some light tuning(e-manage)! just my opinions brett
