  1. naa i forgot to take digital camera! if ya jump on the beastclub.com.au site and go to the gallery and cruise 17 there are a fair few photos!
  2. went to that beastclub cruise on sat night not quite knowing what to expect. around 200 cars showed up! yep! was bloody good fun! was a fair amount of commodores but i was suprised at the variety of other cars from old stangs to a 5lt corolla, silvias, fair few skylines, gtt's gtrs and gtsts! couple of rb30 r31's. most people were really well behaved and not acting like cocks highly reccomend some more guys checking it out next time they hold one, was a really well organised night cruise! cheers! brett
  3. are these cruises a commonwhore (commodore) fest? heard they attract lots of people in their mums cars...... me not goin if thats the case.
  4. super neat. looks nice but you have to be so carefull with 32's now they gettin old and cost lots if they develop a bottom end knock!
  5. definetly interested to know how ya go, especially what the remap is worth cheers man!
  6. Just wondering if anyone has had an ecu remap done by dr drift in brooklyn in melbourne and if so wat their oppionions on it were? cheers! brett
  7. Black_GTST: might get a few people heading over from that way. i know, ashneel dilmah and probably some others that will join you but maybe the tunnel is a bit rich for some. see how you go. yeah sweet well im happy to go what ever way over there, just post up on here if there is anyone interested and we shall take it from there!
  8. No breaks, go gears no fears!

  9. Sounds like your coil packs mate, they will most likely have hairline cracks in em from being under the cover and getting hot. pull em out, wrap some fire retardent electrical tape round em n see if that helps. if so time to look at some spit fire packs! do a search for more info, has been heaps of discussion diagnosing problems that ends up bein coil packs!~ if its not that, put it on dyno and see if its leaning out, could be fuel pump playin up. cheerscheers! brett
  10. Anyone wanna meet in dandenong area about 8:15am and head through tunnel and straight over to the service station meet point? brett
  11. $$$V500's are so dear$$$, i would not be able to justify spending the extra coin over a PFC!
  12. personally i hate atmo venting valves. they pointless for most street cars, all they do is attract unwanted cop attention and make your car stall but everyones different i guess. plumb back or no valve at all is my cup of tea! love the sound of chatter! brett
  13. Im keen for this cruise for sure. Anyone from south eastern suberbs interested in meeting early and headin over as a group? Could meet at Dandenong train station or sumthin like that? brett
  14. thats right off, nice lookin car. all the best with the sale. >>>><<<<
  15. anyone who buys an auto looks into converting it to a manual, everyone who buys a manual are happy and never look back!
  16. Who services their car themselves how often and using which products? is every 6-8 months or 5000ks cool for a weekend only driven car? obviestly after every track day or dyno session an oil and filter change is required but when car is only being driven easially on weekends how often should servicing be done? last time did mine i used motul oil and ryco filters and was wrapped with my car after it.... cheers! brett
  17. so many different oppioions on plugs. for $4 a plug you cant really go past coppers. i use denso irridiums (VK16) at 0.7mm gap (12psi) and find em good! if your car is not boosted not too much point changing gap as far as i know! hope it helps! brett
  18. I might be interested if any others off sau are going..... im in south eastern suberbs!
  19. also, I don't get how someone working for IBM has any more experience putting together a kit compared to anyone else that has hands, eyes and reading ability. he is just better with a soldering iron than me lol! ill get back to you by the end of week! thanks- cheers brett
  20. what sort of $ would you be looking at for em? is the digital fuel adjuster needed on a 33 or just another tuning method?
  21. nice, i have a mate who worked for ibm so building it isnt an issue. does the tuning need to be done on a dyno or is it more a matter of reading and using the hand controller? or does it need to be done by a workshop? friend of mine has worked on imports a fair bit and has a basic knowledge of tuning ebc's... cheers
  22. hey all. just wondering if anyone is using a jaycar boost controller? if so how easy/hard was it to fit to an r33? heard some good things about the settings on em but also heard they are a pain to tune, is this true? am using a turbosmart tee at the moment and over the prick of a thing spiking like hell! for the price of the jaycar one and a hand controller im thinkin it will be a go. just wanted to do a bit of homework first! cheers guys! brett
  23. fair enuff! thought there might be a few reasons againt it. how do they get away with running them on rb30s so sucessfully then? or is it just because they are VL drivers that they harp on about how well they work>? cheers! brett
  24. is it possable to run an extra injector set-up on the manifold of rb25 instead of upgrading to bigger injectors? if not what are the reasons? cheers! brett
