When i was at the pits/vehicle examination an importer was there at the same time as me, he personally knows Mark Schuuman (has met him in japan etc) and apparently owes the guy i spoke to money for parts he bought and seriously does not care about after sales. He works from home so all he needs to do is fax a document and be done with it. Anyways im not getting involved just saying what i heard

Hi guys, After failing the pits with my triple plate ive decided to sell it (sold) as i didnt really like it anyway. Looking for something more streetable that wont slip with boost and wont have winging women or pit inspectors! I guess it all depends on application and power, has n1 turbos, hks cams, and 3.5" exhaust, looking to run about 1.2bar Have been suggested a single plate, 9puk clutch plate with a heavy duty pressure plate. Would this be ok for street application with the power the motor above will give? Will be taking it to the drags of course as well so it needs to cop some 7k clutch dumps Only other thing i can think of is a twin plate but ive heard some of these are as harsh as triples. What are you guys running in your gtrs?

i personally got mine towed and as soon as it arrived i changed every fluid possible. I cant see a problem as long as the engine oil isnt black and thick as a mofo. I know many ppl who have driven from docks or from here to there without changing fluids yet and have had no problems so its up to you.

i have a OS giken triple plate and it is quite... direct. It is quite on/off but there is a tiny bit of slip there. Im used to it but it failed pit inspection yesterday so will need to think of a solution. I might just take it to another one. The clutch is great when driving spiritedly, but during peak traffic etc if its your daily, its not good at all.

Hi guys, I have purchased and fitted an Apexi pod filter kit to my car so the HKS kit that came off it is for sale. They are used and are able to be cleaned using the K&N filter cleaner/oil. Hey dude looks good.. the bumper is fine, it just has a black strip along the bottom which doesnt match the sides coz you have the rear bodykit pods.. painted white would all match up.. hope it gets here soon!

its not 'just a myth', when my car docked i went to watch and every car i saw that got unloaded got thrashed off the boat. Tyres screeching, motors hitting rev limiter etc They all looked dodgy as too, maybe thats just perth

Well importing was a pain in the ass but i have found some goodies that werent on the advert.. namely impul ecu, non stock injectors (theyre purple top?), z32 afm's, oil cooler, greddy exhaust temp guage.. The turbos were replaced with stock items in japan by the supplier (name mentioned in this thread earlier) as 'they were not working properly' I really doubt the turbos were stock but i cant prove it so i wont say any more on the matter.. Mines still clearing quarantine/customs.. has been 8 working days or something atm and wont be released till friday they estimate, so it can take a while.. alot of cars to clear

you will need to sell them as a pair, they wont bolt on 'singularly' to any car unless they get an exhaust manifold made to suit the gtr turbo for their motor (would be ok on a 1.3L motor etc)

i went down monday night after work, saw a corner where our imports were but it was too dark for me to make out anything really, 300zx, r33's but couldnt find mine the wharfies were still unloading the new cars and absolutley fanging them driving out of the boats.. tyres screeching etc.. they woulda done the same if not worse in ours

if you can fit it into a stock nissan ecu shell that would be good, i know how you feel, when i had my ae86 with haltech ecu it was quite daunting seeing cops around, if they stickered me id be rooted as there was no way i could go back to a stock ecu (turbo setup) If you cant fit it into a stock ecu shell just hide it as best as you can, like waay up in the dash somewhere, they wont find it!
