  3. Before the haters start, I did try searching - but forum searches generally prove fruitless for me. I am wondering what fuel pump I should buy for my r33 gtst - I'm chasing about 210rwkw - advice? thanks all!
  4. thanks heaps bzkr33 - appreciate that. thanks mate.
  5. Hey all, did a quick search couldn't find the answer to this (and also didn't seem to be covered in much detail in the tutorial) - I've tried to install a boost gauge in my series 2 r33 and cannot find a hole in the firewall to run the line through... the tutorial that someone posted suggested that there is a hole near the factory boost unit... but the only holes I can see there are holes into above the wheel arch and the hole the throttle cable runs through. Any ideas? A pic would be great help, thanks all!
  6. price on the front bar posted to melbourne 3134. pm me, very keen.
  7. Hi mate, in melb. Do you still have the dash trippler? If so PM me.
  8. Pretty straightforward as the title says. Need a new gear shifter boot for my r33 as mine is rooted. ta.
  9. how much you want for it?
  10. Hmm, jsut tell them she's been working for a year? Either that or just apply with whatever bank her pays go into. if they see she is saving some money and money going in regularly they'll approve her.
  11. Hey all, in my attempts to build a car that the TMU f**kers can't defect I'm chasing a stock airbox to replace my pod. Prefer melb area.
  12. there's a guy that i used to be in a car club with, think he's on ns "benrys" believe he's importing like the first jzx110? maybe search ns for it?
  13. depends on the state, but from my understanding (mum works in registrations for vicroads) scathing is correct, for vic at least
  14. lol "teh GTR can neva loose!!" - it's a right call though, gtr's are uninvolving to drive. seriously, i've driven r33 gtr's that felt slow, and then it runs a 12 all day every day lol.
  15. yeah i considered not buying an r33 because of the stigma that seems to go along with being a skyline owner, but seriously they're a great car and an awesome looking ride. and yes, girls normally do love them lol.
  16. why are so many people recommending cars like mazdas that are so expensive to service? if you want a cheap to run daily the guy with the getz idea is on the money - however there's like 800 bucks gross profit in those cars so good luck getting a serious discount. a 3 or 4 k corolla is a great idea as they won't cost you anything to look after - and a later model magna tj for example is great value for money.
  17. +1 ... but obviously don't thrash it on a day like today.
  18. it isn't easy to do without breaking nuts. most of the people on here will tell you they had to drill out at least one. still, well worth doing yourself to save some money. where abouts in melb are you? may be able to recommend a workshop - but the above price of $110 sounds like a pretty good deal. i know people that have paid $300 lol.
  19. Damn wish my bloody Lancer would sell already!
