  1. I picked up a cheap nissan exa a while ago to fix up before i bought the skyline and it had a shagged turbo, thick billowing white smoke would piss out of it when it was idling, we took the turbo off and there were no blades left on the shaft inside the turbo. We picked up a recoed turbo and never had any problems with the car for at least 2 years after that.
  2. I joined the Air Force so i could one day afford a skyline, now i have one i probably can't afford to drive it ....i suppose you get that.
  3. I'm picking up good vibrations....do you want earth-shaking audio that's off the richter??? Take a visit from our mobile technician....you'll hear us coming before you see us! Hehe....here's my effort, i hope it's simple but effective I've done up a business card as well which is basically just that logo on a card with some address details.
  4. The seatcovers are purple NO5 throwovers, which i too got from autobarn, they're probably not quite as bright as the photo makes them look, it was the only thing i could find to match the dash other than plain black, my missus just started working at the ipswich autobarn recently....staff discount is a beautiful thing
  5. oh ok then yeah for sure, i thought you were talking about a road bike as in a motorcycle, but yeah this stuff would be great on a pushy, i got it from supercheap but you could probably get it from any store that sells spray paint
  6. well, it's proper in that it's not a pearl paint, it's actually green from one angle and purple from another angle, but i just bought it in a spray can pack, you wouldn't paint a car with this unless you were super keen, crazy, or was upgrading from a car done in house paint. It cost $89 for a three can pack (base, colour and clear) i used 2 packs to do the dash and another one to do some highlights on the doors. If you planned on using a pressure pack to paint your bike then you could use this paint, but i think you'd be better off with a professional jop for a deeper colour (esp. with this type of paint)
  7. It's like a harlequin style of paint, it ranges between a sea green colour and purple, it is fairly expensive paint seeing as you have to use a special base coat first, then the colour (5+ coats) and then a couple of clear coats over the top, my car exterior is gun metal grey so i'm trying to go for a Phantom theme hence the purple interior. The paint alos comes in a green colour that looks like the sheen on stink beetles and also a tangerine colour which looked mad but didn't really match the outside.
  8. Here's a shot of my interior, I think it looks pretty trick but not too over the top, i did it myself in electric plum spray paint. I just added some neons under the glove box and guages to light up the floor. I couldn't find purple neons anywhere for sale so i bought some glass paint from a craft store and painted some white neons, it worked a treat so something to keep in my mind if you want a different colour to your regular blue/green/red neons. I've got plans for a few more interior modifications before i start on the outside, just wanted some opinions on it so far... cheers.
  9. Hey guys, I'm a new member and the proud owner of a 1993 R33 gtst. I've not had the car long and it's only got minor modifications to it, a cat back exhaust and a pod filter. As far as I know it's in need of a tune up and was wondering what kind of benefits i could expect and how substantial they would be. Furthermore, if you know of a good company in the brisbane/ipswich metro area that deals with this sort of thing then let me know. as you can see i'm a complete newbie cheers
